Fit Dogs

Great place to burn some energy. My dogs love swimming in the pool. Very clean and friendly staff too!

We took young dog here for a swimming lesson / orientation, and although he was a bit water shy, the trainer was very friendly and gentle and made sure everyone had a good and safe time! Would definitely be back for more.

We had our first swim at Fitdogs and it was a blast! Big thank you to our instructor Trixie for the great experience our dog Sadie had! :) Highly recommend for fun, therapy and quality time with your pup!

Top notch. Never experienced another place like this one. True dog lovers to the max. We drove from Durham to come here 2 times a week. Long drive but well worth every second. Owner isn’t very friendly but don’t let that deter you. They really are animal lovers here & provide a service for all dogs especially those in pain or with disabilities. We are very grateful this place exists.

We took Chili here for her first time to introduce her to swimming since she has never actually 'swam' berore. She was adamant in the beginning, but with a little encouragement from the staff and I, we got her to slowly open up and she became so much more comfortable in the water. She even began treading for the first time after her first lap!We are so glad we brought Chili to Fit Dogs. The staff are very patient, welcoming and professional. Everything was explained to us before getting wet so there was no surprises. I would recommend Fit Dogs to anyone who is looking to bond more with their dog, or to get some energy out.I couldn't be more proud of our girl Chili. We will definitely be returning!

Wallace told me he loves Fit Dogs (and especially Tiffani) and I have to agree with him. I didn't check 'good quality' because it's 'great'.

Our dog had a great time! He's not a great swimmer, but the staff helped him get morecomfortable with water. Will def be back!

Today was Flaxy's first time at Fit Dogs, and he had an amazing time! His first swim was successful because of the trainer Pili's helpful advice, who was extremely lovely. The pool was spotless, and the water temperature was relaxing.The time went by quickly. The price was very reasonable. Will definitely come back.

I bring my 7 month old shepherd here for swimming. We mainly decided to go here because I wanted to keep his exposure to water consistent as he grows up (not easy with this Canadian weather!).The second or third swim we ended up buying the multi swim package because it was just that great! First swim is with the instructor so they can show you how to use the facility and also help introduce your pup to the pool.Heather was amazing with this and super friendly. I introduced my puppy to water right when I brought him home at 8 weeks so he was no stranger to it. Although he hadnt actually been full out swimming before, he jumped right in no questions asked. Heather was surprised by his enthusiasm but he's definitely a perfect example of his breed.Needless to say he absolutely LOVES going for swims and he LOVES Heather too. He whines when we get close because he knows where we're going! Heather gets her fair share of his excitement too haha.Thanks Fit Dogs for allowing me to have somewhere to help my pup flourish both mentally and physically. Great facility and very welcoming staff, I can honestly say I feel like family. I appreciate the quiet time we get after he's home from swimming too ;)
