To start, they showed up about an hour late. The 2 guys were very nice and professional which was good however, I had specifically asked for pot lights to be installed in our bedroom which required attic work. Neither of them could go in the attic for personal reasons so this wasn’t done. The rest of the job was done but when they left, we discovered that the bathroom light now only turns on when the bedroom light is on AND the 2 lights in the bathroom constantly flicker until you turn off the bedroom light in our sons bedroom?! When I called John back shortly after his men left he said that they would send mew guys (attic guys) to fix and finish the job after Xmas. I heard nothing back and still nothing after calling and texting to inquire about this. (Jan 11 fyi) Worse is that it might now be a safety issue with the flickering lights/connection issue so I’ll now have to hire someone else to fix their mess. The positive is that they didn’t invoice me (nor should they) but that’s likely so that I can’t rate them on HomeStars and ruin their high rating. Buyer beware.Jan. 12-update- John did call back to apologize for the whole situation and not invoice us which i appreciated. We are using another company to finish and amend the work.

John and his crew did an excellent job. I needed to upgrade my electrical panel and replace the ground wire. Cosmos was on time and very professional. From the start of the project, John made sure we knew exactly what the job entailed. He gave us an accurate estimate and the work was completed on time. The crew cleaned up before they left and everything was left orderly. Very trustworthy!

I had Cosmos replace outlets in my condo. The two guys showed up later than the expected time but were friendly and finished the work quickly. On top of the outlets, I had them check another outlet and a light fixture. Those two items increased the bill by 50% which was not quoted so it came as a surprise. I spoke with John the owner and he was responsive and helpful in getting the bill to a more reasonable level.

They have a great team, very professional, courteous and quality workmanship. Would definitely use their electrical service again.

Cosmos Electrical is the only electricians I call for all my residential needs. Safety and expertise is priority one. Family owned and local is important and they have always been responsive, on time and fair. Years go by in between service calls but they value customer loyalty - They are always friendly, efficient and provide valuable solutions. I can count on John and his team.

Horrible experience do not use. Sent us an unlicensed person, left us in a dangerous unsafe situation with live wires in the walls, hidden junction boxes etc. We had to self report to ESA to uncover all the issues. In the end when John came to try to rectify some of the mess he tried to walk off with electrical materials we had purchased. Very shady person in general. Stay away.

horrible experience. They used an unlicensed person to do the work at our house, left us in a dangerous situation with live wires and hidden junction boxes. Left open electrical in our toddlers bedroom. John the owner didnt even come to our house to inspect the work, just self passed the permit. We self reported to ESA to uncover all the issues. When he was sent back by ESA to fix the issues he tried to walk off with materials we had purchased.
