One of the best places in Ottawa. In fact they have a nice waiting area. Very friendly people work there. They always get the job done even if that means staying late. Great people great place. I highly recommend Derand Motorsport.

The guy (I guess his name is Bob) give me an appointment at 9 am. I show up but they mention there are 3 car in front of me and waiting not less than 3h. There is no place for waiting and the best suggestion they gave me is to take a bus !!!

They went above and beyond, and stayed late to install a new product in my car. They took their time and even though it was very late, they made sure to run me through everything I needed to know etc. Very happy and thankful!

I had my 2020 Subaru wrx Sti with a manual transmission get an auto start put in and it was a clean job, I can’t even tell someone was in my car and I got a cool phone app starter through them, excellent job I would definitely recommend coming here, very professional. Keep up the good work

I was there last year in December to install a remote car starter. I asked what were my options they explained them. I wanted the one that I could start using my smartphone (mystart) which doesn't have any annual fees, but the price was out of reach, so they suggested that I buy the one that starts with the two way remote and that next year I could come back and install the rest which would cost me roughly another $200. I just called them now and a Mike answered, besides the rude condescending attitude, it turns out they lied to me and sold me a more expensive product (viper) that is only compatible with viper modules so mystart in no longer an option, so now I have to pay them an additional almost $400 to get the viper version of my start installed and I would have to pay viper $90 a year for the service, I'm not willing to do either. The bottom line, I got screwed because they told me what I wanted to hear as opposed to the truth. When I did business with them last year the reviews had them as one of the best and oldest in the business. I see by this year every single review on Google is giving them the lowest possible score. I usually like to support local small businesses, rather than the Canadian Tires and the Best Buys, but I'm finding that recently whenever I have dealt with smaller business I got screwed. No more. Luckily my parents, my in-laws and a couple of friends never got around to get their remote starters installed last year based on a recommendation from me last year. Congratulations Derand Motorsport, you might have screwed me but you lost 7 additional cars.

There's always surprises. if It's not a small job, it's a good idea to drop off the car and pick it up at the end of day.
