Service decent at best, food: greasy and bland, overpriced for what it’s worth.Service was decent meanwhile good on the other hand is just bad. It’s really just a gimmick with the steamy Smokey hot plates and hot pots. When you break it down majority of these dishes can be homemade at half the price. Furthermore the amount of oil and grease in the food is absurd. I understand Asian foods are suppose to be greasy and oily but not like this. Extremely disappointed and will not be coming back anytime soon.

Went here for some late night dinner. We ordered the sukiyaki with beef. It was a very delicious meal and I couldn't get enough of the soup. I even cleared all of the nappa cabbage even though I was so full. The service was quite good as they even refilled our soup. I would definitely come here again.

Was craving shabu shabu late at night and stopped by Mabu Generation. First time being here so wasn't sure what to expect. The place was full despite the time we arrived.Service was overall great. Did have a little bit of an issue with our booth by the window as there was a huge draft causing it to be really cold. Couldn't even take off our jackets. I asked a staff member if we could move and he said no despite there being a table that just left and nobody waiting at the door. He claimed someone was waiting but I didn't see anyone so I asked another person who seemed more senior shortly after. We were able to move and enjoy our meal.Ordered one of their many shabu shabu options and wow the portion was huge. I added extra noodles and it was absolutely delicious! My partner had a sizzling plate and that was great too.Wrapping up the night we had a milk pudding which was free when you joined their app to be a Mabu VIP ". I'm lactose so I only ate a little bit but tasted really good!Overall great experience. Will come again as they have a huge menu with a lot of choices!Extra: As I joined the app after my order I asked the staff how my points would be collected. He said it was based on the phone number used when ordering but I still haven't received any points til this date. Not sure if I'll ever get them."

This is a really good place to try. The food is good quality, the taste is great and the portion is big with a reasonable price. The hotpot was packed with ingredients and tasted really good. We also enjoy the vibe and the music of the place as it compliments the whole experience. It is also kids and baby friendly. The reason for giving 4 star is that unfortunately, the waiter we had wasn’t the best. He almost dropped the soup on my wife and didn’t apologize and in general he was very cold and barely answered the 2 questions we had despite the limited interaction as the order is placed through your phone. I would definitely still recommend you try it.

Super great vibe at this restaurant as I really enjoyed it. I ordered a salmon bowl, which was okay, I think the protein portion size can be improved. However the dishes was served HOT and sizzling. Additionally, the hotpot style dishes that my friends ordered looked really good, so If I ever come back here that is what I'm going to try. Lastly the lemon tea drink was delicious and would definitely recommend. I would suggest physical menus as well in addition to online since this makes things easier for reference. Also for splitting of bills amongst friends, its easier that way.

I usually get their mini hotpot but I’ve had hotpot way too many times recently so I wanted to try something new - got the shrimp tempura with Japanese curry udon and a bed of cold mashed potato on top. Super flavourful but not the biggest fan with the temperatures of the overall dish. Their popcorn is always a must when coming here!

Mabu has definitely improved since opening. Their snacks and entrees have always been delicious, but their dessert menu has considerably been downsized. They stay open til fairly late, so condensing their dessert selection doesn't make sense imo. The service is good, and be prepared to wait if you come during dinner time.

A nice place for authentic Taiwanese cuisine, catering to the younger crowd, good vibes, order via a QR Code from your phone, large servings of all Taiwanese favourites, including spicy beef noodle soup, pop-corn chicken, rice bowls and hot pots.

Always enjoyed going to Mabu. So many great selections of food. My all time fav is always the mini hotpot so satisfying! They have new kinds every once in a while too. Also like the Taiwanese style combos. Good value especially when you order on week days you get 20% off.

I like coming to this restaurant for lunch and dinner. I love the atmosphere. The restaurant has a good variety of food. Now there is no physical menu, order by scanning the QR code. We ordered the hot pot, curry pork chop and Taiwanese style minced meat/sausage on rice. They all are good.
