Located in the basement of New Century Plaza. You will need to walk up/down a very steep flight of stairs to get into the store. There is an elevator at the back of the store. It is well stocked and staff are friendly and helpful. They sell a variety of items from small kitchen appliances, kitchen knick knacks, hardware items, basic clothing. There’s something for everyone to browse for sure. Quality of the items are alright for the low prices they are charging. Of course all items are Made in China.

In the basement of the New Century Plaza located along Steeles Ave E at Ferrier St, there's a department store called The Best Shop.I was surprised to find out that there are 9 of these stores in the GTA.Well, if you have time to browse and walk the aisles you'll find so many practical items for your house and life.I don't really know how to sum it up but I call it an Asian dollar store as far as product variety but prices can range up to hundreds of dollars.Checkout was fairly quick.

i was there with my dad to return an item. the 2 ladies working were so annoying telling my father that he bought the wrong item, they spoke down to my father while there were other customers around. i found that very disrespectful and annoying. they didnt ask for what purpose the item he bought was for, he didnt even get a chance to explain himself and the the ladies had assumed my father is wrong. they embarrassed my father. TERRIBLE SERVICE. please tell them to shut their mouths and respect customers that return their merchandise, making a big fuss over nothing. YOU HAVE A RETURN POLICY, INSPECT THE PRODUCT AND SHUT YOUR MOUTHS.

Exploring the area I came across a department store with everything you need for the house. A focus on Chinese orientated goods. It was interesting to look around and I found just the right teapot for my loose leaf green tea. Prices were pretty reasonable.
