Recently acquired family heirloom kilt and kilt jacket that needed resizing (down) to fit me. Vlada and Ivan were incredibly professional and respectful of the garments. Excellent craftsman ship in tailoring these articles to fit perfectly.

Let me start by saying that I have never had as good of an experience at a business, than I have had at Vlada Tailoring! Ivan was extremely friendly and did my fitting measurements just how I wanted. The atmosphere is so welcoming, clean, at ease, and the owners truly want to alter the pieces in a way that you love. I got a pair of dress pants and a leather skirt altered within days, I'm so pleased with the pieces, and I am so glad I have a go-to place for the future! I had my wedding dress altered here several months ago and I would recommend it to others needing the service. I booked with Vlada about 2 months before the wedding. I did bring my dress in for an initial quote, which seems reasonable given what I have heard from friends and family about their alteration experiences. I should mention however, that the final cost ended up higher, which is also due to more alterations that became necessary after the initial fit.In terms of what I needed done: I requested that a waist strap be removed, but that compromised how tightly the dress would fit in the back. To fix that, the shoulder straps and neckline were tightened. I also had the cups adjusted slightly to fit better and the V-neck was pulled a little tighter for modesty. Lastly, the hem of the dress was shortened several inches. The initial fitting experience was quick, easy and professional. On the day that I went to pick up my wedding dress (the week before the wedding), it was not ready for pick up. However, that turned out to be a blessing because I was able to try on my gown ahead of time and found that it didn't fit as well as I wanted (felt like it fit well-enough, but not custom). Vlada adjusted the straps a bit further as well as the neckline overnight, and it became my dream wedding gown. She did not charge any extra for this added adjustment, which I thought was incredible service. I was absolutely in love with this dress on the day of and would definitely go back if I need another alteration.

Vlada and her husband was very professional and were great to deal with from the very beginning. From having to constantly change our appointment dates and times due to changes in our schedules as well, from the pick up time of our dresses. Their services were just great all the way through.The length of the dresses were also on point, pricing is also reasonable considered we brought 3 dresses for them to work on. We will definitely come back to Vlada and refer her to some as well who is needing tailoring.

Vlada is the only tailor I go to. I’ve taken several items in to be altered, including some garments with very intricate and unusual stitching, and the finished products have always been perfect. The turn around time has always been quick, fantastic customer service and the prices are very fair. Definitely recommend Vlada!

Vlada tailored two suit jackets beautifully. I regularly get comments on how nice the fit is. Recently, Ivan helped me make a purchase over the phone, giving me advice on what could be altered and what couldn’t.UPDATE: The end result of my recent phone conversation on what alteration was possible... I needed the sleeves lengthened on a suit jacket. It couldn't have turned out better. Vlada even moved all the buttons and button stitching down to look correct. I'm still blown away by the end result.
