Beautiful course, well laid out for cart golf otherwise if you’re walking it slows you down, the greens need some love. Overall a very enjoyable course! Would absolutely play it again!

Best public course for the price and condition it is kept in. Tough greens thanks to Doug Carrick design. It has become our home course.

This is a beautiful course. It’s well kept, fun to play, and with the right level of difficulty. There are several hazards throughout, heavily sloped greens, and overall it’s super enjoyable.It’s a unique experience as well driving your cart through a community while you play. Haven’t experienced anything quite like it. It’s also very reasonably priced for the experience offered.Would definitely recommend giving this course a shot. We played in some rough conditions (heavy rain) and I can’t wait to go back to play in better conditions.

I really enjoyed my time here, the staff were friendly and tried to keep the pacing of the groups. The greens and fairways are in very good condition, and the neighborhoods beside really add to the aesthetics! I enjoyed the difficulty level and i think for beginners, the course is quite friendly as the red tee will avoid most hazards (specifically ones that would make you lose balls)

Great conditions. Great staff. I was a single and there was no hassle in sending me out on my own. The groups ahead were very accommodating in letting me play through. Nothing negative to say about this course and usually I find something to complain about in a course.

$118 on April 23 no spring rate and nothing said about punched greens... That should be a common sense rule to let us know if you punched the greens and how long ago so we can decide if we want to play or not

Lovely Florida style seniors community built around a great golf course. The course is kept in great condition, a number of holes with tabletop greens, that run fast and true. The property also has a community center with tennis courts.

Wish I could give this course a 5 star rating! Beautiful wide open fairways, well kept conditions. The greens are something else though.According to the USGA website, Ballantrae’s greens, all 18 of them as of this review in early June 2023, has what is called “localized dry spot” where the greens are dried in spots, causing unpredictable ball roll and putts that are more difficult than it should be.It’s too bad, the rest of the course is great but to see their greens like this, it was disappointing. I hope the issue is fixed before I’ll be back.
