Precision Sport & Spine

I have seen many positive and negative reviews for precision sport and spine. For me, my visit was great. The receptionist was very friendly and we chatted for a bit before my appointment. There were reviews stating that the staff were rude and uncaring. While I still have to go back for actual treatment, I found Dr Fennell to be very caring and thorough with my issues. I do think though that the way you treat people corresponds to the treatment you get in return. I assume that some of the reviewers went in with a bad, negative attitude to start with. I read the reviews but I was in so much pain, I pushed the negative ones to the back of my mind. I would have the opportunity to make my own decision.After almost 2 years of seeing different specialists and severe limitations in my stand time and mobility, Dr. Fennell was a saviour. With a spinal injection in the area of L4 - L5, he gave me my life back, as I asked him. I am 100% better.His consultation was direct and on point. Yes. You have to be ready with the facts. Write them down.In person, he was kind, professional and even saw me up the elevator. It was a great experience and I will be forever grateful.

Dr FennellHow does one begin to express the gratitude one feels everydaywhen you get up and go about your daily life pain free? The pain in my back and down my legs got progressively worse over two years. I had difficulty standing up straight; difficulty rising from a sitting position; difficulty walking; difficulty swimming; difficulty biking; difficulty sailing....I had resigned myself to a forever life of a semi-handicapped individual limited by this debilitating affliction. My family doctor arranged a consultation with Dr. Fennell. His extraordinary knowledge of my condition and his skill and accuracy in pin-pointing the exact location for an injection in my back ... turned my life around completely....and I am profoundly grateful. I have absolute confidence in recommending Dr. Fennell.

Had only a consultation with this doctor and luckily I didn’t need to have his procedure done. I can’t review the actual treatment this doctor provides however I consider myself lucky I didn’t need his injection. This doctor has the worst people skills. I realize he’s not in the business to make friends but Mr.Personality here really needs to work on how he relates to people. Within two minutes of our initial meeting he came across as confrontational, rude, and pushy. I can only hope for others he’s really good at what he does because if his practice is so busy it’s not because of his empathy or caring nature. A quick search of this doctors reviews on google and rate MD quickly made me feel better as I’m not the only one shocked by this doctors inability to deal with people. Further this doctor has been written up before by the medical board for improper staff allocation while performing a procedure where a man died. Dr.Fennel ill advised me on a few things. One, he took a quick look at my MRI report and was quick to tell me a neurosurgeon wouldn’t touch me but rather send me to get the kind of needle he was pushing. Wrong. Luckily I booked a neurosurgeon prior to going for his shot and the neurosurgeon is actually operating sooner rather than later after looking at the severe bulge in my L5 S1 disk. Two, after I specifically asked Dr.Fennel if this shot was something I needed to repeat over and over again he said no. That’s a lie. These shots typically last for 3 to 7 months and then need to be repeated. Now everyone is different but I would think a doctor would potentially warn about this. I consider myself lucky I don’t need anything from this man and hope that in the future he would try to understand that when people come to him they don’t need to be made to feel like they’re inconveniencing him with their condition. We’re in enough pain as it is.

I did not read any of the other postings here before my visit with DR Fennel. I had spinal surgery 2 years ago with rebuilding and re-aligning L1-L5 along with plates, screws and pins. The past year my pain in the lower back has increased significantly. The weekly 7-8 Novocain" injections I was getting along my spine and lower back at another "pain clinic" were no longer giving me even the partial relief I had been getting. So my last shot was to start cortisone injections along the nerve bundles and spine. That was 3 days ago and I started to feel much relief even by the next day. I appreciated the no-nonsense question-and-answer period that began my appointment. He is factual

If you go in with the proper expectations, this clinic is great!After reading reviews about Dr Fennel's poor bedside manner I was worried but didn't have high expectations...and the result?... A great visit with immediate pain relief.Dr Fennel is clearly not looking to make friends, ornxhit chat about the weather, but he IS great at his job.He explained everything VERY clearly, answered all my questions, did the procedures very smoothly and I was on my way... And with greatly reduced pain.I will be back!Manage your expectation and everything will be more than fine.

I went back for injection for sciatica. The Dr was patient and kind. Explained what he was going to do and answered my questions. The basement area for doing this injection was clean and looked freshly painted. Told the Dr I was scared to death and he kindly said it was nothing to be afraid of. Then he prepared the area. And warned my before putting on the cold ultra sound jelly. All done in a matter on minutes. Yes, it hurt but I expected it might. Now I’m waiting to see if it helps my problem. I apologize for my previous post. I was very happy with what was done and what I saw.

I have been treated by Dr Fennell twice in the last 2 years. His staff are professional and pleasant. Dr Fennell spent time reading information regarding my issues, answered all questions completely and explained the procedure in full. Ultimately I would highly recommend him.

Hahaha. Back here to hate on fennel after 5 years of my visit! Bro why don’t you just go and find yourself another job? At this point, look at all the hate you have acquired from your patients! Don’t you get it? This practice is just not for you! As a brother, I kindly advise you start doing general labour, you’ll be much better off Jeremy.
