When one encounters a pleasant environment it generally signals that the people really like what they are doing. Everyone we encountered here gave us the red carpet treatment and we found their courtesy and knowledge to be exceptional! Everything we did at their suggestions was enjoyable and all the directions rendered were easy to follow. Beautiful Canadian stewardship!

The people working here were very nice. They offered free tours and were more than happy to give us answers to any questions we had.

A very nice and informative look at President Franklin Roosevelt. There is a formative film, it's short but interesting and a small Museum of memorabilia from both Franklin and Eleanor. The tour of the cottage was well done. It was interesting the way the various artifacts were laid out it was if people were going to be returning shortly to continue their activities. Truly enjoyed our visit there. There are lots of trails and beautiful scenery all around. The new Prince Cafe is simply delightful and filled with wonderful foods and the prices aren't bad at all. Also enjoyed the tea with Eleanor. The staff gave a delightful talk about first lady Eleanor Roosevelt her young life and through her experience as first lady. There are two teas one is free and is in the morning. II t is in the afternoon and at this time cost $14 a person. At the end of the tea there is a Memento to take home with you.
