Had an amazing time here. The staff is very attentive and sweet. We ordered a bunch of items but the stand outs were tuna tartare and spicy salmon sushi. The underwhelming item was kimchi udon. Found it quite sweet given the kimchi flavour. But overall, all food items were flavourful. Would go again to try more items!

Decent place. The food was delicious, service and ambiance were good. It's a popular spot, so be sure to make a reservation before you come. Plus, their extended hours until 2am make it a great choice for a late-night hangout. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite -- if not most favourite, Japanese izakaya place in the GTA / Toronto. Everything I have ordered here are so good. Also, I like that it is situated within the Village - which is one of my most hangout places in Toronto.

Kintaro was so good! The vibes were nice and staff were very friendly. The restaurant had a japanese vintage vibe. I enjoyed their icy beer, udon, skewers, and sushi. I would definitely come again. The price on the food does add up at the end.

They have a wide selection of drinks from cocktails to different flavoured Soju and sake. The food was tasty and priced well. The vibe is amazing. Service was great.

First time going there. Food was good, service was ok but my table was closed to the door, every time someone opened the door, we felt very cold. I suggest if you go, try to get a table towards the back of the resto. Or if weather is warmer it will be good.

Tuna Tataki was fresh and seared lightly on the outside for a firmer edge and tender interior, with a nice balance from the wasabi vinagairette with mustard seeds inside, topped with green onion for a melt in your mouth experience. Came with a small salad that also went well with sauce.Ebi Mayo was crispy, with a pretty light batter. Dipped in siracha and mayo, with some seaweed seasoning on top. The shrimp was snappy and moist. Cooked perfectly. This was my favourite.Skewers were alright, all had a nice smoky flavour but the bacon wrapped with rice cake had a nice texture, but the bacon lacked its juiciness and saltiness. The pork was a little bland. The tomatoes were sweet and burst in your mouth, the chicken with grilled green onions were good. Onions were sweet and fragrant with juicy chicken. The beef was also juicy and satisfied my beef craving.Overall though, I found the portions to be a little small for the price, yet fulfilling.Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts!

Been here a few times and note—it gets busy! So call ahead for a reservation. Thisplace is great for a quick sit down, catch up and chill. I enjoyed the Gyu Tataki and salmon sashimi. In addition, their cocktail drinks are cute. Anything with calpico or milkis is definitely a try if you like sweet drinks.

Very busy! Staff is busy sometimes you need acrually flag them down. Food was great and this is the first time I tried a sake that I enjoyed. I tried the sake melon drink unfortunately couldn't finish so pretty sure it has a lot of sugar in it, if you are watching sugar intake be mindful of the drinks. Restaurant was clean and the staff was nice. Overall a pleasant experience.
