Foodland - Lucan

It's a small quaint store. It carries everything that you would be looking for. Prices are higher than other grocery stores as most Foodland stores are.Lots of parking and staff were extremely friendly when trying to find different products and at checkout.You can collect airmiles as well.

The owners of this Foodland in my small town of Lucan has disappointment my family greatly. My daughter was extremely excited to be working for Foodland as it was walking distance and one of the few places her age could work and still go to school full time. Unfortunately she was the first employee to get Covid. The owner Dave clearly had no plan and paniced. She followed the correct guidelines that the government had implemented regarding isolating and testing. The owner Dave informed her that an in-person meeting needed to be done before working again. He waited 4 weeks to meet with her to only fire her on the spot the minute she went into his office. We both tried several weeks to set up this" meeting as well. No notice of termination. During those 4 weeks they hired a new employee

Great food, sometimes you find great prices, especially if you get the right time of day, but it suffers from some small town problems, as one would expect.

Price gouge central, poor selection, low grade produce. Cheaper to do your shopping at a convenience store or gas station.

Small grocery store - Foodland is in most small towns and its defiantly one of the more expensive grocery stores. But its convenient, has great sales when they do and it has a good variety of the items you could want or need especially if you live in the town of Lucan or surrounding area.

Lucan Foodland is a clean, well stocked, well priced store. The owners and staff are community minded, friendly and helpful. I am there at least 5 times a week and always get what I need..and occasionally am surprised by the variety and choices in several departments.

Absolutely fantastic store. Everything you need, groceries, pre-cooked meals, fresh desserts, awesome homemade hot soups, and so much more. If you're ever in Lucan, stop by, you won't be disappointed.

Yes, it is a small town grocery store but I often stop in here during work to grab myself a quick premade lunch. As soon as you enter there is a refrigeration unit that contains salads, sandwiches, pasta salads, fresh fruit cups, pop & water, cheese & cracker kits, veggies & dip ect. In the rear of the store at the deli there are sometimes hot meal options as well. Plastic utensils are also available. The staff here are super friendly and fun to chit chat with and share a joke or two. So if you are in Lucan and want a fresh healthy bite to eat that is inexpensive, stop in and take a gander.

Deli counter operates on its own hours, separate from the rest of the store. With higher prices I would expect better service. I would recommend making the trip to London for better service and prices
