James has been really helpful with selecting a dining table and finding the right dining chairs for us.

Really neat furniture, stuff not seen anywhere else. Staff didn't seem to eager to help and prices are $$$$

A truly terrible expirence, hope we just caught the sales person on a bad day. Went in because online they have beautiful bedroom products and wanted to see it in person. Not much in the store. Asked for help and was told to look online, asked to see product brochures/catalogs and she almost rolled her eyes at us. Left and decided even if they are the only ones with the style of furniture we want we'll just not buy it at all!

I live in Montreal. I just wish I lived closer to the store to visit but whenever I order on line, James and his team are so helpful and so sweet. They respond so quickly to any concerns or questions. One time the product I ordered had a problem which was not their fault but manufacture's but they were so calm and dealt with it so quickly and efficiently . I order furniture on line a lot from other stores too but I never been so confident like with them. Thank you so much for all your service and responds to my emails so quickly and nicely. One day I would like to visit your store to say hi to you, James!

Purchased a sale item from them about a year ago (BluDot Lamp) and had it shipped to us in Alberta and it arrived damaged. Contacted Area and James at first seemed to be empathetic and wanting to help as we ended up having to go out to a store and buy replacement pieces and rewire the lamp. Never heard a thing back from him once we reported back how we had to fix our new lamp. Not great to either ship damaged goods (undisclosed at the time of purchase), to ship things not packaged well that are clearly fragile, or to ghost customers. There's other places to buy the same brands, keep that in mind.Follow up - after Area responded to this review I reached out to them again by email so that they could send a replacement and nothing ever came of it.

A few months ago, I purchased a bed and a sofa from Area Home + Lifestyle and had the pleasure of working with James. My overall experience was great as the ordering process was smooth, and the delivery was prompt and efficient.Although there was a small crack underneath one of the side tables of the bed upon delivery, James was helpful in addressing the issue and arranged for a replacement to be sent to me. While the replacement did take some time to arrive, I understand that this was due to unforeseen circumstances and the crack was actually invisible and unimportant, so it wasn't a major inconvenience for me at all.Overall, the quality of the furniture is top-notch and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I would recommend Area Home + Lifestyle and appreciate James's efforts in resolving the issue with my bed. Thank you for making my online shopping experience a great one!

James and his staff are great to deal with. They are always classy, upbeat and ready to help. I would certainly recommend!

Cool furniture if you can afford it. Not a big store but it does have some unique stuff. Also some dishes and Nick backs you can consider.
