We've been so impressed by the surgical skills of Dr. Ben, with the spay and neuter of both of our dogs. Incision was minimal and precise. Fine stitch work. Recovery was extremely easy and fast.no conessmooth.

As our old vet is now many miles away, we initially switched to Thicketwood because it's the closest to our house. However we were so pleased to see that they are one of a kind, and a great team. They are all very welcoming, caring, positive and friendly, as well as knowledgeable and professional. My daughter also loves this clinic and can't wait to take our pets there for their visits every time. Our pets have been equally happy going there, including our cat who was admitted on a New Year's Eve and got a very honest and clean bill of health!

The staff are absolute angels. They are the most compassionate team and they treat us and our dogs with respect and dignity. I can't thank you all enough for caring for our furbaby during his last few days with us and now our puppy. True gems!

Jessy was adopted through petfinder. Although I have been around many dogs Jessy was my first pet. I was a bit overwhelmed and afraid of doing things wrong. Thicketwood staff were absolutely wonderful. Dr. Ben, Joanne, Kyara and Maggie were so patient with Jessy and I. They spent a lot of time explaining things and reassuring me. I left there so happy and feeling so much more confident. I just felt that I could count on them for Jessy's well being. I truly would recommend this place to anyone with a pet.

My wife and I became a fist time dog owner, of a 2.5 months old bichon named Tofu. Fortunately, we found Thicketwood. The team here are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and most importantly, they clearly show that they sincerely care for Tofu's health. They answered our 101 questions patiently and honestly, it is so reassuring to have a team that welcomes questions and care to groom you into good and responsible dog owner, instead of focusing on profit. Thicketwood team, Tofu and us cannot thank you enough! :) Highly recommended.

Update: This review was posted many months ago then deleted just recently. Obvious manipulation by the clinic. PLEASE beware that clinic is capable of physical abuse of your pet.The vet and some staff literally physically abused my baby. Please keep your pets safely far away from these monsters.

We had received a recommendation from our daughter who is a customer of Thicketwood’s sister clinic in Uxbridge. We were signed up as new customers immediately and without hesitation. Our first visit required a second opinion on a concerning diagnosis from another clinic. The staff and Dr. Cecilia went out of their way to make the visit stress free for our dog and we had a positive result with the examination. And the owner is welcome to come into the clinic with their pet as well as be with our dog during the examination. A really great experience all around.

I am pleased with the care that I have received from Thicketwood. The staff and doctor are very patient with my little guy Kody as he barks badly every time he has a check-up there. Thank you for caring for my dog for the past few years.

We have decided to switch vets for our cat after a few issues at this clinic and a specific doctor.Dr. Celia is the first and only vet I have ever heard advocate for dry food (kibble) exclusively. I am not an expert but every other vet/ pet nutritionist I have seen recommends wet food for a number of reasons. Upon hearing this suggestion my first question to Dr. Celia was the potential for urinary issues due to a lack of moisture in the cat's diet. Her answer was that she feeds her cats dry food only and they never had issues. So over the last few months we apprehensively reduced our cat's wet food and increased the dry food. Lo and behold our cat now has a bladder infection. The first time we attended the clinic we saw a different vet. Since it was our first visit I specifically asked about the cat's weight. That doctor said that her weight was fine. The next time we visited less than 6 months later we saw Dr. Celia, who had serious concerns about the cat's weight. Her weight had increased by 0.5 lbs in the interim, apparently enough to go from a non-issue to a serious concern. On another occasion our cat was due for the second dose of a vaccination. The clinic seemed to be unaware which vaccination needed to be administered, they asked my wife if she was knew which vaccine was administered last time. They had to go back through the entire medical history trying to figure out which shots she had already recieved. I would have expected the vet to have provided clear instructions for the technicians and documented properly.Lastly after deciding to switch to a different clinic, I had to make multiple requests via phone, voicemail, and email before the clinic finally sent our cat's records.I would not recommend this clinic.
