Falafel Café
Decided to try a local eatery and wasn’t disappointed. Masafa was welcoming and food was fresh , homemade and delicious. We had the falafel platter which came with four falafel balls, salad, humus and pita bread. More than filling. Would recommend you try it out.

Very friendly and welcoming. I dined in and had a quick lunch of a chicken wrap with one falafel ball on the side to try. The pita had a bit of chew meaning it was fresh (not dry). The creamy sauce was a bit to sweet/ranch like for me. I think I would have preferred more of a savoury garlic flavour. Maybe next time I’d ask if they have whipped garlic sauce like some places. Veggies crisp and fresh and there was a good amount in the wrap. Falafel was fresh tasting itself but there was a lot of sauces served on it. I’d try it again.

Best shawarma in town! Super authentic food in a very down to earth little shop. The lamb, chicken, and falafel are all excellent and the owner is super friendly if you get to know him!

Consistently delicious shawarma platters. There's no better consistency than when 1 guy runs the shop. You don't get that anywhere. The chicken is just always so good it's addictive. Truly a hidden gem.

Very tasty beef kofta on rice, seasoned well. Falafel filling was also right on. Will be back for chicken shawarma and lamb platter everybody raves about, and owner himself strongly recommends.

The best shawarma in Vancouver! I can travel through the whole city to have lunch here. The owner is a great man and very hardworking guy who makes it feel like home. Go and try it!

I went there several times just because of curiosity since the owner told us it’s sold out when we first visited.Second time, he told me I should come earlier even though I was there two hour before closing time.The third time finally I had chance to try the falafel, and it was dissappointed. Especially the amount of hummus was absurd. It definietely didn’t worth my effort.

Best shwarmas/platters in vancouver!Veggies in the wrap and in the salad from the platters are always crisp and fresh. Highly recommend.I used to order here on avg. once week when i lived a block away so it was sad to hear owner is struggling with the business nowadays.

Outstanding falafel, and so cheap! Absolutely delicious, and freshly made which makes all the difference. The spice mix inside the falafels themselves was wonderful - complex and interesting, and his spicy sauce was perfect. All that for under $12! Will definitely be back.
