Thornhill Child Care

As a mom, I really don’t recommend this agency for lovely children. If you care about your children emotional this agency is very bad. Can you imagine to truth some one without see her??!! I’ve never seen this agency staff and they just call me by phone!!! Parents please be carful about your lovely kids.I don’t know how you can say my heart is sick when you didn’t see my kid!!!!! You can ask my kids doctor about their health.

Love that this non-profit society has both daycare and Dayhome options with locations throughout the city and in Okotoks. Website is clear and has helpful parent resources. I use this society for my two children and intend to for years to come. Great food options as well- I love knowing that my children are having healthy meals and positive experiences trying new foods. Highly recommend.

I paid for $25 for wait list in 2016 to this daycare when my daughter was 2 years old, but I never heard anything from them, not even a call or email. However, some parents whom I know, their kids were accepted in, even they registered later than us. So, don’t trust them and waste your registration fee, you never know what’s going on there. They also have Kindergarten problem, but looks like not easy to get enough students. The Director worked very hard to convince me to send my daughter to their Kindergarten in 2019 when I showed up, but couldn’t give me a good explanation about the $25 fee paid and never got a spot within 3 years.Good luck to them!

As a first time parent we were timid to trust anyone with our kid. We are thankful we found Penny and the thornhill team and we haven't regretted our decision for 1 moment in time. Now, 10 years later, we have had 3 kids go through the Thornhill daycare and kindergarten program and we can't speak highly enough. The care times are better than most and the fee's for care are less than almost everywhere in the city. The caregivers care deeply about the health and wellbeing of the children and I strongly recommend getting your kids in if there is room. 5 Stars! Side note: The team handled covid exceptionally well. We were able to take our daughter to daycare when most places were closed, thanks to their protocols and consistency. What a relief!

My oldest child attended the North center for 4 years and we all loved it! I felt the confidence that my child was nurtured, supported, and cared for everyday. This gave me the peace of mind to focus and be present in my own daily requirements.I now have my youngest attending and I have that same piece of mind after every drop off.We're always greeted with a smile and encouraged to communicate any questions to the educators. This was a huge relief as a first time parent. I am always thankful for the care my kids recieved, and continue to receive, at the Thornhill North Center.

My 3year old just started going to the Centre street Thornhill location. It is well maintained and very spacious. I love their outdoor playground with greenery field view!! No parking lot or road view. Room 3 teachers are very responsive, caring, and friendly. The classroom is always calm and neat. The centre director is warm, soft spoken, and very approachable. Would definitely recommond Thornhill childcare centre.

Love how much love and tender care the staff put into taking care of my kids. I love the menu as it offers a wide variety of foods! We have had both our kids go through Thornhill daycare and couldn’t ask for a more wholesome and well rounded early education for our kids. Shout out to Penny as well for addressing any concerns quickly and being someone I can trust for parenting advice!

Lovely, caring staff! Excellent food! Strong program director! We've had two children here and will be sad when they have to leave. Highly recommend this organization and only wish we had more non-profit organizations to run more child care centers in Canada! Thanks, TCC, for all your years of loving care!!!

The teachers at Thornhill are so incredibly kind and very interested in the children. My daughter calls some of the teachers her best friends. When I ask the teachers for information about my daughter, they share openly with me. Miss Una gets excited to share things about my daughter's successes, she is so great. They are all wonderful and caring, I get such a good vibe from everyone in the centre. The daycare has an on-site chef (Bev) who makes all of the meals and she is friendly and helpful. The daycare director Penny is great as well, she knows all of the children by name and is incredibly involved and engaged in all aspects of the daycare, you can tell she truly cares. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone!

Thornhill Child Care North Centre is like an extension of our family. We love the rich programs, enriching activities, staff and all the child care givers. Unbelievable rate/fees for the value too. The Kindergarten program was such a great foundation for our oldest child compared to the experience we had elsewhere with our middle child. So worth the wait. Highly recommend TCCS - a role model for Child Care, great Job TCCS!
