Plating was impeccable and food is top notch from this unassuming quaint cafe. Ingredients were fresh and both the thin and Detroit pizza crusts were perfectly crisped — masterfully baked. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Great people, great food!

Has become a place I return to regularly and constantly recommend to my friends and family. The pizza is outstanding, especially the Detroit Double. The sauce is unlike anything I'd had before and the fresh basil really brings out the flavour. The Black and Blue and the Rodeo also deserve mentioning. The buffalo chicken sandwich is my personal favourite but I have yet to have a bad meal there! Delicious!

We stopped in after a long day of hiking and were so happy to be well received. The family that runs this business and Longview Steakhouse are the most warm and genuine people.The burger was incredible. The steak sandwich was amazing. The pizza was so good as well. Pricing is so reasonable and offers a great value.If you are looking for quality food with amazing service, look no further.

We just had a fabulous meal at Root 22 in Longview. My partner had the cheese burger with bacon and said it was delicious. We also shared a pizza with shrimp, artichokes, olives, sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. It was also delicious! We thought it was good value for the quality of the food. The service was also excellent. Very attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend - we’ll be back the next time we’re hiking in Kananaskis.

I stopped at the eso station and decided to get some breakfast next door right next door is the root 22 route as in tree root. So I had breakfast. It was early in the morning. 9:00 a.m. and so the gentleman who ran the restaurant he suggested it. Omelette I said. Yeah that sounds great. I had a ham mushroom cheddar cheese omelette. Omg was that breakfast ever delicious? Most watering good. Just the right portion for for my age over 60 and the hash browns. My God the hash browns were to die for. There's were small cubit hash browns, but they're cooked just to right amount of crispiness. Of course he came with toast and marmalade. It also came with bacon and it was just so yummy and the coffee was so good. I sat on the patio and looked down main Street. Longview can be a busy place in the summertime, but don't miss this opportunity to stop and get a wonderful meal . Is a very classical old feel to the restaurant inside, and outside. They have a cute little porch patio. Got to sit with my kitty tied to the post outside. The sun was shining and food was great at the Root 22 restaurant. Nice people, great atmosphere and the food just leaves you with that most watering taste all day. If you're looking for a wonderful breakfast restaurant, this is it .So if you get a chance and you're driving through, Longview plan to stop and have something to eat at the route 22 new taste buds will Thank you.

I'll be coming back. The breakfast for lunch as a break while hunting was a wonderful treat. I might even drive my family down. I really enjoyed this little family restaurant.
