Very Sketchy! I brought 4 batteries that weighed 30 lbs each. At 30 cents a lbs, it should have totalled $36. They claimed it was only $25 after fudging the weight of my car going in/out. They don't even have a display so you can see your own weight.Definitely don't waste your time here. I've never had any issues selling scrap. They lady on the phone even told me a higher price a over the phone before I arrived.When I complained the lady behind the glass was not helpful (just held up her arms playing dumb). Would an honest sell have so many problems that they need to sell behind security glass?

Been going there for 20 yrs . Never had issue. always help unload if they can always carfull not to damage my truck . Nice and close . I even got a bottle of wine last xmas another time old boy made me a expresso.

After being weighed and paid, it didn't seem like my scrap was priced fairly. I had weighed my bucket of copper , brass, and aluminum, before heading to their location. Either their scaled are rounding down by a large amount, or they are dishonest.I would suggest not selling your scrap here if you want top dollar.

VERY DISHONEST PEOPLE. ONLY GO HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY TAKEN. I HAD TO START CHECKING MY WEIGHT IN AND OUT BECAUSE THE PAY NEVER SEEMED ENOUGH. MY LAST TRIP THEY SHORTED ME BY OVER $100 BUCKS THEY ARGUED WITH ME WHEN I CALLED THEM ON IT. I HAD TO GO BACK IN THE YARD AND SHOW THEM MY SCRAP PILE THAT I DROPPED OFF. THEY AGREED TO PAY THE MONEY THEY OWED ME AND TRYED TO SAY THAT THEY CONFUSED MY SCRAP WEIGHT WITH THE DUMP TRUCK INFRONT OF ME.. I SAD TO SAY THIS HAPPEND TO ME MORE THAN ONCE. LOTS OF BETTER HONEST PLACES TO GO DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Believe it or not, scrap iron has next to zero value - maybe 2 cents per pound. Cu and Al are the larger dollars. Don't blame RIM for a deflated market value.Carry your scrap to their inside scale and weigh it if in doubt. If you drive across the scale, expect RIM to estimate tare. I suspect that everyone bringing in scrap did not present pure metal but likely mixed with packaging or scrap plastic like battery cases.

Owner and staff are friendly. Have a great sense of humor and are always have paid fairly to recycle my metals. Highly reccomend them!
