While prices may be a bit more than Loblaws I find the quality typically higher with the produce. And their ready made burgers cannot be beaten. My burgers are not as tasty and cost more to make so now I just buy them here. The Gorgonzola is by far my fave

Didn't know they recycled the moldy food for the all you can eat buffet mounted into the toilet! Fricken sweet

It's so beautiful.. the chickens above the eggs actually cluck.. there are so many service points throughout the store to interact with staff.. lots of cash lanes open.. after lockdown the lunch area will be amazing.. and soon to feature a wine rack in the building!!

My absolute favorite grocery store! Love going to all of the different locations throughout Ottawa, however, this one is our favorite. You find the best fresh food and the staff is always helpful and kind! Thanks for being the best when it comes to great food!

We shopped few days ago and while we were shopping we got hungry. We took some ready to it food and went to dining area. We asked before we entered there and we were told it is ok to go in before paying. This is when things got awkward. From the time we sat down, two associates kept staring at us as if we were thieves. Even after we went back for more shopping they followed us the entire store and even they whispered into others ears to watch us. It was the worst experience in my life. After we paid we were told we had to pay before dining. Even so, their behavior was so so rood.Farmboy has to send their associates to training on how to treat peopleNever recommend this store to non-Canadians

My wife and I stopped at Farm Boy on June13 to pick up some items for a work lunch we were hosting the next day.On June14 I was preparing lunch when I noticed that the price for the salmon was excessive.$65.53/kg for farmed salmon? Do I need to say more? I have attached photos of the product and subsequent receipts.I contacted the fish department at Farm Boy and expressed my concern.They asked me to return the product with my receipts and they would immediately fix the issue.With an hour and a half to spare before my guests arrived,I returned to the store.What ensued over the next 25 minutes at Farmboy could only be compared to a Monty Python sketch gone wrong.Monty Python was funny, what I experienced would be more along the lines of the Keystone cops!!The packaging with the fish does not have a barcode (it was packaged by their fish department in front of me.)The lack of a barcode threw their entire system into a meltdown.Not one single person knew how to refund my money.Suggesting that they give me a gift card for the amount that they owed me or just giving me cash and resolving it later was not even a possibility.The manager kept pulling the packaging of fish out and looking at the lack of a barcode.Eventually they refunded me the amount of the second incorrect billing which gave me a little over two dollars more back than I was entitled to.Everyone was very happy with their problem-solving and kept reminding me how I was being reimbursed two dollars more than I was entitled.No one seems to take into account the hour I had wasted.I was now left me with 30 minutes to make lunch for a group of 10 people.An extra two dollars for an hour of my time and the extra fuel I spent going back-and-forth.I did not expect the item to be given to me for free.I always pay my way!!What I did expect after calling ahead and explaining the situation was to be out of there within a timely fashion.My time is valuable!Having been underwhelmed by the customer service at the store, I decided to call their head office and have a discussion.After three calls, I was not able to reach anyone.Their customer service line, by the way, it is option number two on their system was not answering and did not even have a voicemail.I was, however, able to leave a general system voicemail message.As of the time of this review, I have not heard back from them.

Usually love this Farmboy but not tonight. I purchased a package of beef tenderloin. The one on top looked amazing. I froze the better looking one for a later date. Tonight I barbecued the other. It was incredibly tough and chewy. Now I will choose from the meat department at the back of the store and decide.

Please be better at keeping up with your stock…. I feel like every time I go there you don’t have something I was looking for and I’ve wasted multiple trips to this store because they were out of stock. Not to mention there are always employees on beer cash’s when they don’t have their smart serve so I then have to stand around for 5 minutes for a manager or supervisor to help, that has also made me late for events.

Variety of products to cater to customers taste buds . Produce, meats, deli, pastry department, cheese, canned goods, farm boy in house brand name products. Ice creme

Farmboy Barrhaven on Greenbank is probably my favourite location. Between the large cheese shop and great fresh deli products to their hot meal and salad bar and bakery. As long as you avoid it at noon during the week or avoid all weekends. The place is packed then.
