I really enjoy working out here. There’s plenty of room with lots of equipment to use. Always a clean environment and super friendly staff.

Good gym, clean, people are friendly and welcoming. Make sure you call and ask when membership is done or else they will keep charging.

Emma is the sweetest, most helpful receptionist! Every time we come in, she welcomes us with a warm hello. It makes coming to the gym fun.

There is no other gym I would ever go to after getting a membership at this gym. So much equipment, never have to worry about having to wait for something during the after work rush, gym hours are great, membership pricing is very reasonable and best of all the atmosphere is second to none. This gym has created multiple friendships for me and the staff is also unbelievably kind. Every time you walk in they have a smile on their face and are always up for a good conversation. The personal trainers are no different they are all extremely knowledgeable, positive and make your training experience enjoyable and effective. I would also like to mention Cass as she is an amazing staff member, and my fitness consultant who helped me figure out my membership details and always helped me out with any questions I may have had regarding the gym. All in all I would highly recommend this gym to any person I talk to, they will not let you down.

I love this gym! Been going here for 2 years. Friendly staff and always very clean. My personal trainer, Stephanie has great strength builing workouts and nutrition support. Lots of equipment, machines and weights to choose from with a wide selection. They have the best play list of music to listen to if you forget your headphones.They also have group fitness classes upstairs and my favorite is the sauna in the change rooms which are always available for use and never crowded. Location is great too as it is close enough to my house that I can bike and lock up the bike racks outside. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to workout with good vibes.

I didn’t want to sign up here seeing their reviews but I only did because my friend said they would care take of everything just to have me come work out with them, payment and all.I have memberships with GoodLife, City of Edmonton, Factory fitness, and go to the University often. I like fitness and am willing to pay for it but GYMVMT has made my experience so horrible even though I am very hands off with them. I thought my friend had cancelled a while ago but I just received a call out of the blue saying I owe them money.First of all, if GYMVMT was taking money without providing a service or product it is theft. Second, any money taken while my friend is requesting an immediate cancellation is still theft and solely due to their negligence. Do we really need to resort to legal actions to make this clear? Third, they are a hassle and resort to bullying. My only contact with them (other than the initial sign up) was to let them know that I am not involved and my membership should have been cancelled long ago and I had to hang up because of the harassment (it was honestly kind of shocking).I encourage everyone experiencing harassment and theft from GYMVMT to contact legal support.Anyone looking to sign up with this gym should be aware of their malpractice and are most likely probably going to shut down.I would highly recommend EVOLVE for lifting, Factory for a good climb and gym with good equipment and an excellent customer service experience, the city and university gyms for accessibility and easy cancel/sign up process. GoodLife doesn’t have as good equipment and again, I am wary of how they will act when it comes time for me to cancel but they are still no where near as bad as GYMVMT even when it came to signing up.

This Gym is so nice, they have a lot of machines to do a really large variety of exercises. The instructors are very friendly. It is clean, and every one is respectful.

great gym! One of the busier Gymvmt’s I’ve been too but I train with Sarah and she is amazing! she made me so comfortable in lifting! Front desk staff and other trainers are also nothing but nice and helpful. Definitely recommend coming here if you live near by.

They just want your money. I was told that I could freeze my account for 6 months until my contract ended in a few months to avoid $100 fee. Waited 6 months to be told I had to pay $145 dollars just to cancel. What a scam. Get your policy straight with all your staff. Will never step foot in this gym again. Competitive gyms have better pricing and staff that actually know what they’re doing.

Way too many people for the size of the gym and amount of equipment. Half the free weights are missing because no one puts their stuff away. Good luck getting a turn on any cables during prime time. The most congested location I have been to.
