The Wig Room

I was looking for a replacement Wig for my aunt as her's was getting old. She experience some hair loss and she likes to put them on sometimes when her regrowth comes out and she does not have the time to do her roots yet. I was very happy to find The Wig Room. Christina was very knowledgeable and patient. I booked my appointment and brought my aunt to the hair salon. We were in a private room and we were able to test out different wigs. Overall my aunt and I am really happy with the purchase and service offered by Christina from The Wig Room.

Excellent experience with Christina. I hunted high and low to find a wig for my mom after she had to shave her hair off due to cancer. I wanted to find her a wig that would make her feel as much herself prior to being diagnosed. The Jon Renau brand fit her the best and looked the most natural - you cannot even tell it's a wig. Christina did a fantastic job and made sure the wig looked exactly like my moms hair. She spent so much time with us to make sure my mom was happy with it. for my mom's 80th birthday I brought my mom to the wig room to buy a human hair wig. Christina was very helpfy and my mom got what she wanted. We did consultations with other wig shops but didn't find the quality of the hair as good as the ones from the wig room. Not ony that they were able to customize it. 5 star

This is an amazing place to get your wigs styled, coloured, and cut. I went to Christina to dye my wig and topper (that I purchased from another seller) and she did such an amazing job with them. She was able to fit me in and accommodate me to ensure I could wear my wig to an upcoming event. She is incredible at what she does, exceptionally kind, and I highly recommend her.

I brought my mother here looking for a wig. We were worried that we may not be able to find anything in the color and style that she was looking for. Vanessa was unbelievably patient and understanding during the entire process, and took the time to ensure that we found the perfect one. After the wig arrived she helped to trim and style the wig until my mother was happy. I would highly recommend the Wig room and the Dye Lot.

I previously ordered a wig online when it arrived it was nothing like I expected it to me. The hair quality was bad and it just really didn’t fit me. I returned it and got my money back after some struggles. I decided to find something in person and found the wig room. Abril was so helpful and during our consultation allow me to try a number of different topper and wigs. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. Abril was also able to custom the wig for me to my liking. 5 star.

I came to the wig room after learning about it from my friend who had a good experience here. I've been wanting to buy a new wig for my mom for a long time since she's had one forever that she wore to cover greys in-between coloring, but I didn't know where to go so I'm glad my friend told me about it. I wanted to invest in a high-quality one that would last since she often wore the one she bought herself and it didn't hold up well. Initially, I had to drag her here because she insisted her previous wig was fine, but in the end she found one here that she really liked, styled to a way she was happy with. It was worth the investment to find something that my mom actually really liked.

I was very satisfied with my wig consult and purchase from Christina. I am a chemotherapy patient and she was kind and helpful. She is extremely knowledgeable and offered lots of helpful advice, knowing this was my first time wearing a wig. I felt like “myself” again when I put on my new wig, which is such a great feeling for anyone undergoing cancer treatments and dealing with hair loss. Christina went above and beyond to get me a wig in a colour and style that I was comfortable with and even cut a wig I had previously to fit the style and shape I wanted. I definitely recommend The Wig Room and Christina. Well worth the drive from White Rock for the appointments!!

Last year I was diagnosed with brain cancer and lost all of the hair on the right side of my head from radiation, and it’s pretty sparse in other areas too. I wasn’t sure whether I was ready to invest in a wig but I met with Christina to explore my options anyway. She provided me with both synthetic and human hair options, and even ordered in wigs for me to choose from and try on all while keeping my budget in mind. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and was extremely empathetic to my situation. I told her I had undergone radiation and that my scalp was very sensitive, and she took extra steps to make sure I wasn’t in any pain or discomfort throughout the entire process. Once I had decided on a style, Christina custom coloured the wig for me to reflect my natural hair colour, styled it, and provided me with appropriate products and care instructions. The wig I decided on is fantastic quality and with proper care will last me the rest of my life. I am almost a year out from having finished radiation, and unfortunately my hair has not grown back, but I am so happy that I decided to invest in a wig that looks natural and authentic. Christina was able to give me a wig that makes me feel 100% like myself. If one day my natural hair does grow back, I will definitely be visiting Christina again for a hair cut and style. 110% recommend. I honestly can’t say enough good things about my experience here!
