Corrected version:The Stile bakery. The cinnamon bun had a powdery substance that looked like cement but tasted like dust. Heaven knows what they had used! Their almond bun was probably baked last year. Not only was the dough hard as a rock, but the almonds were completely rancid. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else. These folks should not be allowed to sell such potentially harmful food, aside from the awful taste.

Kin-Kin is a chain of bakeries that can be found around the city. This particular location is on the lower level of the Sheppard centre so it is easily accessible by subway. You can also pay to park in an underground lot. The buns here are ok. There doesn’t seem to be as much variety as at other locations.

Inflation is real!! Now 6 buns are $12. I was lucky to pick up super fresh buns of pork bb, curry beef & sausage. They were still warm when I picked up at at 1pm. I see lots of reviews to complain about small bun, dry and not enough filling. But I found plenty of filling and it was moist.

Bread is good for the price. One bad thing is I cant tell which bread is which when getting home. No name tag on the package. For me, Good taste: beef curry, whole wheat raisin. Bad ones: taro, hotdog, cinnamon.

They have buns, ice cream, bubble tea, Hong Kong milk tea and dim sum. I haven’t tried the bubble tea and the the ice cream yet. The buns are big and ok. I won’t return to buy more. End of day it’s $12 for 10. Good deal. Normally they are 1.75 each. But for dim sum I won’t get then here. I’ll go get at Furama Dim Dum inside the food court. I tried both places. Furama is fresher and tastier.

A beloved spot where you can get BBQ pork buns, coconut buns, egg tarts, and delicious HK-style coffee-tea (hot or cold!) They have a great deal of 2 buns and a drink for $5.50! Buns are baked fresh. Choose a warm one for maximal delight. They are doughy and delicious. Service can vary but I share the opinion that if the service is too friendly, it’s a bad sign. Good vibes! A new fave for certain!

I recently visited this local Chinese bakery and it was a delightful experience! The bakery exuded an authentic charm, and I instantly knew I was in for a treat. The highlight of this bakery is their selection of oriental style breads. I had heard that Chinese breads are different from the usual American ones, and I was excited to try them out. I was not disappointed with the price. The breads were incredibly delicious and had a unique lightness to them. Each bite was a blend of flavors and textures. The bakery offered a wide variety of options, and I couldn't resist trying a little bit of everything. One thing that stood out to me was the attention to detail in the bakery's creation. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the bread had just the right amount of sweetness.I recommend this Chinese bakery to anyone looking to explore new flavors and indulge in a different kind of bread experience.Overall, my visit to this local Chinese bakery was a delightful journey into the world of oriental breads. The delicious and light flavors, combined with the warm and friendly atmosphere, made it a good experience.Note: This review is based on my personal experience and taste preferences, and may vary for others.

I don’t understand the negative reviews! I keep coming back here cause the buns are fresh no matter the time of day and every one I’ve tried is SO good.

After being a regular customer of this place for the last little bit, I been detecting a pattern overtime. Both relates to the overall customer service experience. What I could tell you based on my experience is that service is at a “Double Standard”. I’m just trying to pinpoint between the “First Class” experience that is provided towards someone that either has excessive money to burn or someone of a particular origin or perhaps both. Otherwise for the vast majority regardless if your a new or repeat customer, get prepared to be treated “Second Class”. I will not be returning to this place.
