We were not planning to buy a mattress right away, but only to ask around and look at prices. We also were planning to visit several stores. As it turned out, the associate, Bonita, was so pleasantly convincing that we bought a mattress and spring box from the very first and only store we visited. It was an excellent stress- and problem-free experience.

Went there today to buy a Cocoon Memory Foam Matters, they actually offered me 100$ off the regular price!! All 3 of them there are super friendly and helpful I highly recommend them <3

If you are someone who is looking for the firmest mattress in Edmonton, this is the place to go. I can say this as I have done a lot of looking around for the right mattress and then the mattress I tried here stole the show. Very friendly and genuine customer service by Bonita and even more genuine price so that every dollar you spend on the mattress counts towards the best sleep of your life you can have everyday. I would highly recommend checking this family owned store out if you are mattress shopping.

From the moment walking into the store to having the mattress delivery has been an exemplary experience. Our sales guide Andrew was amazing, thoughtful and detailed. He was incredibly patient with helping me find the right mattress and was never pushy. His suggestions helped me make the best decision. The rest of the front staff were so friendly and engaging. The communication between purchase and delivery has been stellar and they were able to accommodate our requests. Our delivery guys today were shocking in their efficiency. Friendly, speedy and zero fuss. I commented after they left that I’ll hunt them down for any move I’m doing because wow that was impressive. Now the mattress is here and it’s surpassing our expectations. I highly recommend Mattress Mattress at South Common. My experience in the store was great! Clean, staff are helpful and informative. But the mattress I took home is terrible. This review is about the mattress, not the store. The Emery mattress has caused me back issues. After 6 weeks of sleeping on it, I started waking up with a massive backache. I turned the mattress to try to alleviate the problem. After one week, I noticed divots in the mattress and my backache returned. I attempted breaking it in for 4 months before I gave up. I kept waking up with a backache. It became so bad that I had to stop sleeping on the mattress. After several trips to the chiropractor, the back pain has subsided. One night back on the expensive mattress and the backache returned. It's been quite the frustrating experience. I followed all the directions and yet this mattress does not agree with me and I have no use for this $1700 Emory mattress. It doesn't seem supportive and forma divots very quickly. I would not recommend.

We bought a mattress almost 3 years ago and forgot to leave a review. Recently I recommended a friend to go there. I went in together with my friend last week. The education about bed is still excellent, Sale person is still caring and listening to what you need which is really important. You can't get this from many stores. They educate you the differences of each bed and how it suits your need. We actually went to a few mattress stores, and we absolutely can tell how this store stands out from others. They make sure you get what you are looking for, which means you don't have to return it. The mattress we bought is worth every penny. Still love it after almost three years. Best place for mattress ever!
