Saturday morning just before I left for a long drive I phoned to request my tire pressure be checked. I had no appointment but I was told to drive right in. I did. Not only were my tires checked the oil was checked as well. Excellent service as usual from a wonderful dealership. I bought my both my Hondas here and glad I did.

**This review is specifically only for the Pacific Honda service department.**They’re saying “Don’t open your hood to strangers. Bring it home to Honda.” Maybe any Honda dealers would be fine except Pacific Honda unless you want mediocre service.Long story short, our ‘16 Honda CR-V wouldn’t accelerate all of a sudden with all the warning messages on dashboard. I took the vehicle to the nearest Honda dealer, which was Pacific Honda on last Saturday. No phone calls for two days about the status, then the service manager finally called after I sent a complaint email to the dealer. David, the service manager helped us a lot so the car was covered under the warranty (That’s why I give 2 stars instead of 1 star), but it took total 5 days for the vehicle to be repaired. The service advisor that I originally dealt with had no idea what was going on with the vehicle and only left a message on Wednesday that the part wasn’t arrived. Finally when I went to the dealer to pick up the vehicle, they were going to charge the full repair cost even though it was already confirmed by the manager and Honda Canada that it would be covered under the warranty, and took them good 10 minutes to figure things out.*I was out of a vehicle for 5 days, and they were saying there’s no courtesy car available for me but I could rent a car from the nearest rental car company for $35/day. Thank goodness it was covered under the warranty and I had an alternate transportation option, but they would not provide a courtesy car for any long complicated repairs unless you book the car in advance. (How can you reserve a vehicle in such a situation? If they knew it could take some time to repair, they should’ve provide a courtesy vehicle and provide a free rental car to the next reserved person. AND a courtesy car WAS available at their parking lot when it happened.)**When I left the vehicle on Saturday, it had approx 3/4 of gas in tank, but when I got my car back, it barely had just over 1/2 of gas. The mileage was fine, but the car trip computer was showing fuel economy as over 65km/100l. I reset the trip computer every time when I fill up the tank so that was a shock to see that. They must left my car at idling for a long period of time, no words, no explanations, no compensations about that whatsoever.As I mentioned, David the manager was cool to deal with, but there are definitely some rooms for them to improve on their service. I do not get my car serviced there as I do not live in North Shore, but if you have to leave your car for any service, beware of totally disorganized, I-do-not-care service until some proper training and the improvements on their procedures are done.

The times I have needed maintenance have taken my Honda Fit to Pacific Honda Service in the North Shore Auto mall.I've been well taken care of by the staff on all my visits. They have even arranged for me to be picked up and dropped off by their convenient shuttle service.Elliott has helped me in the service department and he is transparent and professional with explaining what work needs to be done and the cost of the work. When I come to pick up my vehicle I'm never surprised by the cost.I have found the common maintenance (such as an oil change) is very reasonable, cheaper than minute" lube type places. I am also confident the service technicians know how to work on my car and will treat my car as if it was one of their own.I will keep coming back to Pacific Honda for any service I may need. I trust their service representatives and they respect my vehicle."

Leave your car here at your own risk. I learned my lesson unfortunately the hard way at Pacific Honda. ( from reading other reviews, I am not the only lucky person! ) On April 18, I dropped off my car for a recall repair, and went to pick it up on April 20. I noticed numerous new white scratch marks every where on my car (side, front, top etc). I notified the staff and a manager (Gerson) came out, noticed more scratches & helped to polished the marks off. Then on my way home, stopped at a gas station for gas, I noticed a brand new 6 inches crack on the rear bumper right under the gas door! I called, nobody could help. Then I went to the dealership on Apr 22, David manager kept re-directing our attention over to other minor older scratches on the bumper and other minor scratches on my car, hence suggesting the crack was a part of older impact and therefore they were not to be responsible at all. Trying to help the dealership that the impact is brand new and I am not making it up, I got a 3rd party ICBC body shop estimator to have a look and estimator confirmed that the crack is a result of a new impact. I called David again Apr 26, I was told it will cost the dealership over $1100 to repair to repair my bumper (aka I will pay them) , and for that reason, it is better I pay my $300 deductible and get an ICBC claim, and he even made un unfounded claim that if they pay the deductible for my claim , they would be committing insurance fraud! Which initially I believed it since I am a lay person. But somehow, on Apr 29, I woke up and called ICBC to confirm if David's claim is legit! Surprise! ICBC staff repeatedly said ICBC does not get involved with the deductible, and she said nothing to confirm such claim!!!! Today, I am even more upset, because I found newer dents on the same side of the crack. David has offered me a courtesy $150 credit towards any future repair at their dealership, thank you very much, I am afraid to go near this dealership because who knows what surprise is in store. Welcome to Pacific Honda dealership in North Vancouver AutoMall, pray between the time you drop off the car and the time you pick it up, there will be no nasty surprise! Otherwise, when you ask for assistance, you may be gas lighted, be given creative fact, or found yourself suddenly soliciting fake insurance fraud"!! I just don't feel safe with these (games)! I am done. Period."
