Victoria Taxi

Literally takes forever for the cab to arrive! I used to rely on this taxi service so much and for the past 4 months, they have the worst service ever. Cabs take around 25 minutes minimum to arrive. Sometimes they don’t even show up even after it’s been booked?Definitely don’t recommend Victoria taxi anymore

If I could give less stars I would. I called for a taxi today (using a Kia voucher), the Victoria Taxi tracker shows the taxi is on the way/close by and then suddenly disappears off the map and the tracker has the nerve to ask me how my ride was? What a kick in the shins! I called dispatch and they say, oh someone must've stolen your cab, I'll send another. The next cab just sat in a parking lot about 15mins away for a while, so I had to give up and catch a ride with a co-worker to get to Kia before they closed so I could get my car.THIS is why we need Uber. What awful service, never again. Hopefully Kia stops using this company, I'll never rely on them again. I still have the taxi voucher from Kia for this ride, which to me is worth less than the 3x5 paper it's printed on. Save your time, use any other taxi service.

Rude dispatcher who hung up on me without giving an ETA, I had to call back and ask. His ETA estimate was 15 minutes and it took 45. The cab driver stopped half a block away and took the wrong people when it finally arrived. Very poorly run,I recommend using Bluebird Taxi Service who I called after and were only 10 minutes, on time and picked up at the correct location.

Just the other day mine and my Mom's taxi Driver STOLE some of our Groceries I want compensation in the form of a payment taken from Shandels Paycheque to replace the stolen Items as it has been almost 2 days since I reported the Items having been left in the back seat of the Taxi and I haven't heard ANYTHING! Put your Drivers through BETTER training for goodness sake, They NEED to check the whole car before leaving and if a customer is CRYSTAL FREAKING CLEAR that there are groceries in the backseat of the cab then the Driver SHOULD NOT drive away until both trunk AND BACKSEAT are devoid of groceries or other Customer items.

For the love of God, please fix your app. It is brutal. Pay more for more accurate positioning. It must be frustrating for the drivers to show up a the wrong place frequently. Frustrated today as I waited for 20mins for a driver and the cab was cancelled with a message says he couldn't find me. Sort it out. Drivers are always very friendly and professional! Problem lies within management.

Booked my taxi the night before to go to the airport. Ravi my driver was a couple of minutes early; but by no means trying to push me to hurry.Car was clean, the conversation was wonderful and he drove like a professional, not like a race car driver jockeying for position.The website said it is aprox $57 from downtown to the airport. It ended up being pretty darn close to that price.

My driver today tried to scam me. I told the driver the location I was headed to when getting into the taxi. I was picked up from the Empress hotel (although I’m a local, I think he assumed I was a tourist who may be unfamiliar with Victoria). My driver drove literally one block down Wharf street towards my destination in Vic West and told me traffic was too slow and then he did not want to drive me so I had to leave (it was slow as it normally is in that area but not standstill). I was annoyed at the inconvenience but told him “okay I guess so” and was prepared to get out and walk back to get another taxi when he stated that I must pay him for the taxi ride. I told him I wouldn’t pay for a 1 block ride and only would pay if he brought me to my destination- which he eventually did take me to. He treated me cold and was very unprofessional.

Bad experience , ordered a taxi to my location for a meeting downtown. Some other's talked the cabbie into taking them, ended up 45mins late for my meeting. Dispatch laughed at my situation. Thank you Victoria taxi.Blue Bird taxi is recommended over Victoria taxi.

Wanted a can from Hillside, they said sure no problems. Had me waiting 25 minutes, called them again, they said the driver will be there in 3-4 minutes. I waited another 10 mins, called them again, they said a driver is just dropping someone off, I waited another 10 minutes, called back and they wouldn’t answer the phone. Do not use Victoria Taxi…they are a joke. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I try to use the taxi service occasionally, after a late night. I have found that the drivers are fine, but the dispatchers are not. A few times where I have booked a taxi for a time they promised, only for them to blame me when they show up 20 minutes earlier than they said. Basically the company is not good, and their drivers should work somewhere else/better
