First time using Davey Tree. Everyone we dealt with from arborist, office staff and working crew was professional, experienced, friendly and easy to speak with.Arborist spent time reviewing our property, listened carefully and made great suggestions/ recommendations. The service was scheduled and completed by a great crew within weeks of the initial site review.An amazing job with exceptional clean up.We will use Davey again.

Got with Davey to get rid of a few trees and tie back our arborvitae. They got rid of the trees and did nothing for our arborvitae, when we complained it took weeks with no response we had to call several times for someone to come out and take a look. They (Franklin Thompson) agreed nothing was done on the arborvitae but continued to bill us for the incomplete service, they never scheduled a day to complete the work and continue to bill us. We have escalated the issue to Management at this point but I don't have any faith this will be handled appropriately as they apparently had no record of Franklin coming back to review the unfinished work. I will follow up on my review but again they have not proven to be trustworthy or reliable.Update: management got in contact with us and was willing to rectify the situation by removing the charges for the services not completed and the completed tree removal which was beyond my expectation. I just wanted to cancel the future services we planned for the begining of fall and only pay for what was completed. A manager is coming out this time to review the unfinished work and see about the fall work we want.I do appreciate they got back to us within an hour or two and are willing to make the situation right.

I don't have anything good or bad to say. I asked for an estimate for ash tree treatment - they never got back to me in a reasonable time frame. I went with someone else. Maybe they don't do that kind of work - or were too busy to return my communication.

I have used this company for several years previously at my former residence and now for the past 7 years at my current residence. I was always pleased with the level of service, with no concerns. Even if I had a problem, they always promptly sent someone out to take care of my concern. In the past few years the level and quality of service has declined, while getting a 10% increase in cost every year. I have a silver maple tree which draws boxelder bugs. I've paid them $160.00 per year for a spring treatment. For the 1st 4 years, not a trace of the bugs in the fall. 2 years ago I had an infestation in the fall and they waived the fee for 2021. I had no issues last year. This year it was like they had not even done the treatment. The infestation is horrible. I called and spoke to Tim, the arborist who said they are flying off your neighbors trees". Really

I am extremely pleased with the work done at my home , there were 2 trees that need to be pruned. They did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them . The gentlemen were very courteous and my yard was cleaned up. My thanks to them.

They showed up when they said they would and did a professional job. Very good clean up and will post again when the stump removal is completed.

I was so impressed with Daveys in Lancaster NY. Tom was amazing getting out to the property and realizing how serious the problem was, his quote was wonderful and his team was there first thing in the morning. I would recommend them to all my family and friends.

From start to finish a great experience. Lukas came out right after a blizzard and on a holiday to do the estimate.The crew came out to work immediately in horrific conditions (thigh high snow)! They did an amazing job and cleaned up the debris. Professional, hard working, courteous, completed the job quickly.... I just cannot say enough good things.

Outstanding and professional service. Starting with the consultation with Frank, who is so very knowledgeable to the gentlemen who actually did the cutting and cleanup and made sure I was a happy customer. Highly recommend this business!

This is the second time I have used this company for my trees. Two yrs ago to trim back some of my Blue Spruce tree, did an excellent job. And this time to fertilize all my trees and shrubs, reduce the size and anchor my slightly leaning willow tree. I am very impressed with their service, especially their professionalism. I asked that they let me know when they plan on doing the anchoring of my tree so I can be present to show them where my water supply line was located so they don't accidently hit it. (I did call 811 but they only locate municipal owned main trunk lines). They actually called me after hours to let me know that they would be here the next day. Very impressed! Most contractors and service providers don't do that. I asked Tim, their certified arborist, about anchoring another tree on my property. He said he didn't feel it needed it. Thus saving me money. That helps since I am on a limited retirement income.
