Central Drugs - Pacific Station

Friendly + helpful staff, nice storefront, and always stocked up. Sylvie and the rest of the Pacific Station Central Drugs are a great resource for our community!

My first and last time dealing with this pharmacy. There were three main issues:1. I was charged for and given nearly double the amount of medication my son was prescribed for the month and it has a month expiry date so entirely wasted medication and money.2. I was promised a phone call on a Friday when the prescription was ready to be picked up which was not given before I realized they had closed and were not open on the weekend. Consequently my infant son went without his medication for the entire weekend which helps him to stop projectile vomiting so that was horrific.3. I was was treated poorly in person and on the phone by two separate employees on two separate occasions. One of which I was sharing my experience with as mentioned above to try and give them a chance to rectify the situation.I am utterly shocked by the lack of professionalism and customer service and have moved my prescription.

The pharmacist I talked to (Sylvia?) was incredibly kind and helpful and was able to compound an antibiotic that my son actually loves the taste of. This was hands down my best experience at a pharmacy!

Went here for the dogs meds. Very helpful . Even though the dog was not ours they did everything they could to get her meds.

I've just switched to Central Drugs from another chain Pharmacy, that I've been with for many years. All very good,... until now. The Nanaimo branch, where I've recently moved, was an awful experience. Central Drugs has been a step waaaay up!!! Customer service is like going back to the 50's. John, the Pharmacist, has been really REALLY great. The team, totally, audaciously cool!! I'm extremely happy that Central Drugs was suggested to me!!
