S & S Automotive have been my go to for the past several years. Always excellent service and diagnostics, and have never once tried to up-sell or advise me that I required additional services that may not have been necessary.

Got my car fixed in the end of august 2022.(invoice #26564)They changed my front brake; pads and rotors.And here I am a little over 20 000km later, my brake makes weird skwiki and grinding noise on and off.I stop at a mechanic shop and they tell me that my pads are good but whoever did the Job, did not change the rotors...So I have to pay again for a new set of pads and rotors.And guess what no more noise !The Shop I went this time gave me a warranty of 36 months/36000 miles (56000km) on my pads and rotors.. so clearly something went off the first time because there is no way I should of have issue with the Job after 20 000km/8monthsMaybe it was bad Lucky, maybe something went wrong at the Shop that day...Definitely I would ask to see the old pads and rotors when you get it done here, just to be sure...First picture is my invoice from s&s on (08/31/2022)Second pictures is my odometer as today.Third picture is my new invoice...

Highly recommend these guys out of all of Canmore always very pleasant and a reasonable price also honest . They were able to help me by replacing my lights when I got a quote of $250 as a starting point from another garage I was Very pleased these guys did my lights and my oil change for less than that always pleased with the service and also have the cutest dog that makes your day above and beyond great service

I just stopped by at S&S Automotive due to a check engine light. As I'm living a little further away I wanted to be sure it's safe for me to drive back home. I was greeted by a very friendly pooch and a gentleman named Kevin was incredibly kind, assisting me with reading out the error code 5 minutes before close on a Friday!!! I was extremely impressed with the friendly service and would definitely use this garage, if I still lived in the Canmore area! Thank you for your help.
