Concussion North in Barrie is a leader in the field of concussion management. Their approach to concussion care brings an entire team to the field to help in the recovery process. I am very grateful to have met Dr. Shannon Bauman and her team and often wonder where I would be if I didn’t. 5 star clinic without a doubt.

Concussion North
I was referred by my physician. But since it wasn’t a direct result of a sports injury (I even explained that I had suffered head trauma from sports in the past that may have contributed), they refused. Receptionist offered no alternatives when requested, no sympathy, just blunt rudeness. My physician and I were very confused. If the result/symptoms are all the same, why should the cause matter.Very discriminatory. They wouldn’t have known the difference if I lied and stated it was sports-related.

I was recommended here by my physician, but because I wasn't in a sports injury, they refused to see me? Sounds like another cash grab to me. The receptionist offered no other names. Rather cold departure on the phone.
