Carver's Steakhouse - Sheraton Cavalier
I don’t leave reviews often but this place was fantastic. I’m a foodie and went there not expecting much but what a pleasant surprise. We had 2 young children with us and it would be easy for them to deliver just average service but all of the waiters were just great. We also had a great amuse bouche of coconut shrimp and a palate cleanser of delightful raspberry sorbet. The food needless to say was fantastic, perfectly cooked steak ...creative soup ... great crab cakes. I would go here before hy’s or modern any day of the week. Keep up the good work!

Carver's Steakhouse - Sheraton Cavalier
Went for a special holiday dinner with my significant other. Crystal, the manager, was awesome and set us up in advance. We had a phenomenal bottle of wine and our service was excellent. Ordered the table-side Caesar salad and it was a great experience to see it prepared from scratch. Our steaks were perfectly prepared and it was classic fare with a little modern twist. We were the last table and had to wait some time to settle our bill but overall, wow.

Food was nice but really small portions and expensive. Not a lot of options for appetizers. Drinks were either wine or juice, no cocktails

This place serves really good steaks..their fixed price options are also very good..the chef gave us complimentary dessert..! Lots of options for non steak eaters as well. I will definitely revisit when in town.

This place is inside the Sheraton hotel off of Barlow and 32 Ave in the N.E. If you are looking for a quiet place to have a freaking awesome steak diner than this is the place to go. I have never suspected a place in a hotel to be this good, but WOW. The staff were amazing.The food was better than other steak places in the area ( across the street). The pricing was in my opinion cheap for what you got. The Caesar salad that is made at the table was to die for. The crab cakes were the best I have ever eaten. The steak as well was cooked to perfection.Please go and check this place out, an absolute must. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.

I walked in kinda late 9:45, the place was pretty empty but a very nice employee set me up with an order and delivered it to my room. The 2 course $39 meal was a good deal, the food was really good, the steak was cooked perfectly. Thanks!

We had to spend the night in Calgary and went to the Sheraton. Having the only one choice of restaurant left at 9pm we went to Carver's and boy was I pleasantly surprised with such a great experience. We chose the $39 two course to dine in. I love the food they served us some breads as we waited for our starters, starters were phenomenal! Then a surprise palate cleanser from the chef :O tantalising! The entrees were also great! The only criticism I have is perhaps their portions were big for what they offer dinning in. I will definitely be back!!

I had a business dinner meeting here, and it certainly was a pleasant meal.The food was excellent. I had a prime rib, and it was a thick, juicy and tender cut of meat, perfectly cooked to my liking. The steaks seemed fine as well. The tableside Caesar salad was okay, but not as overwhelming though.The wait staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

The food here is AMAZING. Prepare to leave very full! They brought a little palate cleanser after the appetizers, which was super tasty. The scallop appetizers are so good, unbelievably good, I think they were my favourite part of the meal!The service was also very good. I hope I get the chance to come back here soon.

They're closed. According to front desk, they refuse to open as they feel the hotel doesn't have enough traffic to justify it.
