My father is buried here. He passed on March 11, 2004. He was an American citizen and U.S veteran. Someone keeps stealing/removing the U.S flags we leave at his grave. This has happened countless times over the years, and I am seriously fed up with it. I live in the U.S, so won't be able to just drop in to discuss this matter, but I will be calling next week to figure out why it keeps happening and how to prevent it from happening again. I will not stand for my father's grave being repeatedly disrespected like this.

Nice cemetery. Close to the road/University Ave, so turning left during busy hours is a bit nuts.

I called and spoke to Nancy Clarke over the phone, she was very kind to email me information. However, when I called back with a question she was extremely hesitant to answer any questions at all and insisted I come in to meet with her. I asked her why and got a very unsatisfying response. Time. She didn't even know what my question was, I highly doubt it would taken more time to answer them over the phone. It would however take time for me to drive to the property and back for a very simple question. I had offered to either call back at another time or schedule something but she did not want to speak to me over the phone. *also covid is still a thing so that was 1) very annoying 2) very irresponsible. I will NOT be burrying my dead body there for sure.

I went to visit my uncle's graveside with my aunt, then my grandparents grave. It was disgusting, the grass is growing over the stones. Last Sunday I visited my my in-laws graveside at Memor Gardens. What a differance, all the stones have been cleaned around the edges. Why can one place do it and you can not? You deserve 1/2 a star.

Hard to say I love a cemetery, but we laid my Grandmother here, so it's hard not to have an attachment to the place. It is a beautiful, if not confusing, cemetery.

It's a nice cemetery, and a great place for a walk at sunset. However, you should hurry out once the sun gets low. If you mind the stories, that is. According to the legends, there lies an old, weathered, unmarked grave towards the south end of the cemetery. Some stories say it's faded with time, others say that the woman buried there was so evil that the city refused to mark her headstone. The soil around that headstone never bares any flowers, the grass is never green, even the air around it feels heavy and stale. Supposedly the woman buried there is one Lily Flatwood, (dubbed Lily of the Valley")
