We saw a review on Blue Hog and arrived just before 5 but in time to enjoy a delicious smoked salmon plate while looking over the water chatting with the friendly and entertaining owner!

Super friendly staff.Beautiful art, all local made.Photography, paintings, mixed media art, felting.Also sell some paints and sea shells including lobster claws.Stunning view of the ocean.Very worth the stop!! Highly recommended.

Think this is a gem of a place to eat lunch!With home made peach ice cream & delicious hand smoked salmon on the menu along with fish & chips. Nothing fancy...just great food alfresco!

We originally went to Lunenburg but felt it was too busy. Driving just out of town we found the Blue Hog. What luck to find Don and his gallery. He was happy to spend time talking with us and his photographs of local scenes are amazing. The bonus was his fish & chips shop where his own smoked salmon was delicious. This stop was one of the highlights of our trip.

What a terrific find!!We're visiting from Dallas, Texas and were driving toward Blue Rocks when we came upon this little gem. Don and his wife were terrific hosts and the food was spectacular...not to mention the water view.If you want to experience something a little off the beaten track I suggest dropping in.We had fish and chips and smoked salmon. By the way, Don smokes it himself.
