James uses proper pruning techniques and cares for the health of the trees he’s working on. He worked with us to achieve our pruning objectives and guided us on what the tree needed. Also, he does a wonderful cleanup!

My neighbor’s home has a MASSIVE fir tree. On Friday afternoon we discovered a huge thick branch way, way up in the tree had broken off and was precariously balanced on another branch over our property. I was concerned the branch could fall and potentially damage our garage. I called multiple companies In search of someone to remove the branch.James at North Cascades Tree Care was the ONLY person who responded to my calls. I was so grateful to hear from him. He managed to fit in our job the very next morning.His communication was great (keeping me informed about his arrival and cost). He arrived at our home on time with one other assistant. Watching James go up the tree and find a way to remove the tricky branch was fascinating. They were very professional and speedy. After taking out two “hangers” they also hauled away the wood.Thank you so much for coming to our rescue!

I was very satisfied with the work these folks did for me. I had a large diseased birch tree that needed to come down in an old tight quarter area of Seattle. They were experts at insuring there was no damage to power lines and underground utilities. Very hard workers who stuck with the job until finished. Great communication and fast replies to inquiries. Their price was very fair and their work was excellent. They did exactly what they said they’d do. Highly recommend.

We had a tree fall on our house from a neighbors property. The neighbor's permission was required to remove the tree, but we couldn't contact him. A large dog stood between us and the neighbor's front door, guarding the house. James risked life and limb to go past the dog and knock on the neighbors front door. He also did a fantastic job with the tree removal. I wish I could give an even higher rating than 5 stars.

We had a wonderful experience with James. We have a very old pine tree that is magnificent and needed a lot of help. He and his other arborist did an outstanding job on this very difficult project. We would highly recommend them and will certainly call them again with any other tree needs.

He responded promptly to our inquiries, arrived on time to provide consult, followed up the next day to make sure that we received the quote and thanked us for the potential opportunity.On the day of tree removal, everything went very smoothly. When the team was going to arrive later than planned, they immediately communicated to us their new estimated time of arrival. The cutting, removal, and cleanup took less time than expected. The team went above and beyond. They did some additional cleanup of sawdust that made its way over to our neighbor's property, and also picked up an additional bundle of yard waste not related to the tree removal.We paid them with a check and received the final invoice for our records via email within fifteen minutes.We would highly recommend them again!

Very professional tree removal company. Always kept good communication which was important to me. I had to have a tree removed at my Lake House home in Oroville, since I would not be there I had to trust they would show up and do a good job. Reading there reviews I had no doubt they would come through. They did a fantastic job at a reasonable price, highly recommend their services.

Very friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. They helped diagnose an ailing fir, agreed that it should be removed, and had the whole tree taken down before I knew it. They did a great job cleaning up the mess, and left me with a nice pile of wood chips for mulch in my garden. I will definitely call North Cascade again for tree service in the future.
