January 6th, 2023: After 10 years of damaged merchandise, I give up!I have been a loyal Gravity Pope customer for years, going on nearly 10 now. In that time, my experience with the company has truly been a mixed bag in terms of customer service and the quality of merchandise received. Shoes, often very expensive shoes, often arrived damaged, and it's difficult to get earnest help from an understanding representative who gets the disappointment and deals with you fairly. These guys rarely get the amount of time, energy and cost involved in a purchase. My most recent purchase was the breaking point! The last pair of Italian-made $400 fiorentini & baker boots, that I had been coveting for months, arrived with half-a-dozen long and severe creases, indicating a lot of try-ons at the store, and carelessly handled by their staff. No one bothered to address these issues before shipping them to me. When I reached out to customer service, my experience with Taylor was pretty horrendous. He clearly has no training in de-escalation. Despite my attempts to get him to get it

First time customers. Good selection of medium price point shoes. Our associate, Day, provided excellent service, and was knowledgeable about the company history and the show selection. Will return in the future.

A lovely local store located on whyte avenue that I’ve been coming to since I was little and got my very first pair of little black converse high tops. The quality has always been amazing, and the selection has always been unique pieces that all seem to have their own quirky attitude! The customer service has always been attentive, however they could put more effort into being friendly instead of sometimes coming off as snobby. Whenever I want to buy a specific shoe that will last me a long time and still serve a cute character for a shoe this is the first place on my listBrands I’ve gotten and can advocate for are: adidas, converse, Birkenstock, doctor martens, and vans

Omg can’t say enough good things about this shoe store! What a great find when we were in town visiting. Everyone seemed so helpful and the manager Lisa helped me find a great pair of shoes that I absolutely love. Will definitely be back again!

Recently was looking for new walking shoes, and saw Gravity Pope carried Hoka, the brand I was looking at online. I’d always rather support local than shop online. In store the sales person was super knowledgeable about which shoes suited my needs more and I am very happy with my purchase. Great shopping experience.

Lol...pretentious staff. Came in to spend money on a Sunday . Sorry we weren't all dolled up. No greeting..whispering staff and no help. So bought Carhartt stuff at marks work wearhouse ...where people actually wear the stuff to work . Tall guy most rude...emo isn't cool anymore dude. Looks like your last great review was 6 years ago..get decent people working there.We buy our stuff in Revelstoke mostly on trips . Drop a bundle and support nice people . We wont be back...but not like you care lol...emos don't care

Quality fabric and timeless classic clothing is woven in every piece this store offers, but without high quality staff a store is just a store. Thomas" (tall slim gentleman with short dark hair in the clothing store) is always the sales representative that I ask for and purchase from as he: has good judgment

Popped in here for a quick browse as we have a gravitypope back in Toronto and wanted to see their sister location!Day provided us with some of the best customer service I’ve ever had in my life. First of all, she was incredibly attentive and absolutely hilarious. My partner has a lot of difficulty finding comfortable shoes and has really wanted a nicer pair of dress shoes that don’t kill her feet every time she wears them. Day not only hustled to bring us over 50 pairs of shoes (thank god for her previous track training!), but gave us such helpful and thoughtful recommendations and tidbits about the shoes. If I could hire her as a personal shopper, I would.Kudos to the rest of the team as well for being so friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive! Everyone was so welcoming and personable, which is a huge plus when you’re shopping for more expensive goods like the ones gravitypope carries.

Excellent customer service! Speaking with Chandelle who was patient and knowledgeable, advising and helping me find appropriate shoes to fit my narrow foot. This is my second time ordering online and lucky enough to get the guidance of Chandelle again.
