Sea to Sky Celebrations is one of the Premier wedding planners in the Whistler area. They are very professional and imaginative. All of their weddings are unique and amaze their clients. I have had the honour and pleasure to collaborate with Rachael and her company Sea to Sky Celebrations for a number of years.As a local high-end photographer, I am delighted when my clients secure her services as the planner. I know that when they do they will be in excellent hands, that their wishes will be heard and that she will go above and beyond to exceed their expectations and make their beautiful wedding day a delight. Not to mention that her collaboration with timing and execution allows me to capture all the gorgeous images my clients wish and hope for.She is at the top of her game and an undeniable best of in Whistler and the Sea to Sky Corridor.

Sea to Sky Celebrations was the one major cause of stress in what was otherwise a perfect day. My wife and I had asked them to set up their wooden sculpture at Nita Lake Lodge on our wedding day, knowing it was a beautiful piece, but also since we were having our ceremony in the porte-cochere, it was necessary to block our guests' views of the street traffic as well. We agreed to rent the sculpture for $1,200 and were required to have the full amount paid a month before the wedding.Our day-of coordinator tried to touch base with them the morning of the wedding to confirm the details, but received no response from either of the numbers we were provided. She also reached out via their social media, and while her messages were 'seen,' no one took a few seconds to confirm that they were indeed coming. An hour before the ceremony, no one had showed up or given any indication that they were coming, sending all the bridesmaids into a frenzy trying to figure out a Plan B as to how to block views of the passing traffic.Shortly after this, one of the bridesmaids reached out to them posing as a new client and quickly received a response after our day-of coordinator had been ignored for the entire day.They did arrive with the pieces sometime before the wedding, but neither of them actually knew how to set up the sculpture, so our friends and family were pressed into action mere minutes before our wedding trying to sort this out with little to no assistance.It was a rainy and cold day, so after the ceremony, we took the bulk of our photos under the porte cochere in front of the sculpture. The two Sea to Sky representatives stood nearby the whole time, looking pretty annoyed that they couldn't pack up and leave immediately after the wedding.We feel we paid far too much for the service, attitude and lack of communication that was provided for such a high cost. It's a beautiful sculpture, but anyone getting married under the porte cochere trying to avoid a hassle on one of the most important days of their lives would be much better off finding an alternative backdrop.

I just had my vow renewal ceremony at Nita Lake Lodge with Sea to Sky Celebrations organizing everything and I can not speak highly enough about how fantastic a job they did! Kerry was the main person, who with absolute calm and professionalism, gave me the wedding of my dreams. To complicate matters I live in California and every detail had to be worked out thru email and phone calls.I threw last minute requests at her, that she handled brilliantly. She organized Bagpipers, guitarists and when it started to rain in the middle of the outdoor ceremony sprung into action with umbrellas for all.As an interior designer I was probably a very difficult client for Kerry and Rachel because type A" is my middle name when it comes to how I want something to look . From the moment I started speaking with Rachael from Sea to Sky Celebrations, I felt 100% at ease. She has a very calm demeanour that is invaluable, in my opinion, as a wedding planner! Throughout our wedding planning process the whole Sea to Sky team was very organized, kept us on track, which was super important because I have a crazy full-time job, and was always very prompt at responding to emails and calls. We loved working with Kerry on our wedding design, she is a gem as well- and our wedding far exceeded our expectations both with the gorgeous decor and the whole day itself. These guys were hired for my friends wedding due to the venues requirement to have a planner. Flat fee to organize not depending on the vendor which to me doesn’t feel like. They picked a cheaper photographer presumably the first they contacted or a friend, we had to ask to swap for a different one who was better. They barely had wedding photos in their portfolio. Not much choice given with details. Not very personable but reasonably organized. Hard to work with, didn’t make the process fun or easy at all. Day of I was horrified at the attitude of the woman setting up the ceremony site. Never before have I seen someone who looked so unhappy to be doing their job at a wedding. Thankful the bride didn’t have to see it. Sour faces all round.After this experience I wouldn’t be recommending them

Rachel and the Sea to Sky Celebrations team were excellent in making our Small is Beautiful wedding easy and amazing. They effortlessly coordinated our cake, pictures, flowers and any other little things we needed for the celebration. The hair and nail specialists were professional and great to work with. Caron our photographer nailed the pictures. I would highly recommend using Sea to Sky Celebrations if you are planning on getting married in Whistler.
