JDM TUNERS INC

I purchased a used EJ207 engine from JDM Tuners back in the spring/early summer and although I was assured it was in good running order, it was not.When picking up the engine, I questioned them on warranty and the person with whom I was dealing with kept mentioning that there would be a start-up warranty so I would be covered in case anything was wrong. Fast forward a few weeks to once I actually got the engine in my car and started, it was knocking hard. As soon as I reached out to JDM Tuners about starting a return, exchange, or refund, they became an absolute pain to deal with.I heard every excuse in the book from the warranty is actually a 30-day warranty" to "you took too long to install it"

Went there and picked up door cards for a Lexus a while ago off marketplace, there was no mention of what was/ wasn’t included so I assumed the entire door. That was wrong I ended up paying 20$ each for the ashtrays to match, but the real problem happened when I got home and the vinyls adhesive started peeling off of the boards. I messaged him and asked what he would do and he insisted I came in, so I did and when I got there (from the other side of the city) he told me to just spray 3m adhesive in the crack and it would be fine. I don’t know if it’s just me but after paying 440$ for a set of door cards you think the business would be professional enough to fix the damaged product they sold, I was given no discount no adhesives and wasted gas just to get told something I could figure out, I do not recommend going here for imported parts.

I've been dealing with JDM Tuners for over 10 years now. I bought my first engine from them (a B18C SiR-G/GSR engine with LSD transmission) and absolutely no issues. I've sold the car that I installed the engine in and it's still running great.I worked at a shop that deals closely with them as well. The parts that I get from them have worked great, and when they don't they are very reasonable and have been able to warranty them without issue. These are used engines/trans, etc and it's unreasonable to expect them to be perfect every time, but they've always stood by what they've sold me.I would recommend them time and time again.

My wife and I had put a deposit down on a van we loved but changed our minds due to the right hand drive. My wife didnt feel comfortable driving with the kids, so we asked for our deposit back. The owner was exceptionally understanding, patient and kind when I explained our family situation. Highly recommend these guys for their customer first perspective.

Bought a 2006 Forester STi from here back in October, it's been an incredible daily. They were even kind enough to pick me up at the airport to make things easier. Drove home from Calgary to Winnipeg with no issues. Definitely recommend this place 100%

talked to this guy at his shop today. he was honest, upfront about my project and was easy going. he gave me all the info i needed to find out that the scope of the job wasn't something i could get into at this time. thanks for your honest help and not just trying to sell a project to someone for the sake of a sale.

Excellent service and customer relations . Purchased two vehicles from them now and both are great. Willing to work with me if I have issues after purchase and not just taillight warranty as they say. Will be back in the future for parts or another car!

Went to pickup some WRX v7 seats from Fred. Super nice guy to talk to and exactly as what was in the photos.This place is a used JDM parts warehouse to put it in the easiest words. They remove parts and resell them as if you were getting items from a part out. So make sure to take your best look over everything before you buy.They have improved significantly since my last visit 4 years ago.

Terrible service. They never called me back, gave me grief about using a credit card, I wouldn’t recommend them. I got everything I needed from jdm racing motors in Quebec, In the colour I needed and they had no issues taking my credit card.
