Love these guys.... ALWAYS professional, was really put off with the Kabayan Store in Darmouth because the fellow-Filipinos there act so arrogant and even follow you through the store.

Website said they open at 11 am. Went to the store, not open till 12 pm. Waited till 12:10 pm, store did not open and it was completely dark inside. Didn't waste my time and went to the next Filipino grocery down the street and had success. Funny enough, another man who stopped waiting at Bahay Kubo was also at the other Filipino grocery that was next door.

This is a hidden gem. I had a taro boba and it was pleasantly surprising! Plus, prices and portions were reasonable.
