I had an appointment with Alicia for haircut and vivid color at noon and as I live somewhere faraway from here I called and told them I would be there at about 12:20 pm and asked them if it was still okay to come, they told me yes it’s ok and see you…When I arrived there(12:26)they told me my appointment was cancelled because I was 30 minutes late, YES I was late but I let them know before I left the home, they could simply tell me it is not ok ,the time I called them,so that I would not take 25 minutes trip to be there. And when I told them I let the front desk know that I was late they told me she heard you told I would be there in 10 minutes :/

I had such a great experience with Corinna at Scissors in Kanata! I got my hair done for my birthday and Corinna was super accommodating with her time and did such a good job on my colour and my cut. The women that were working at reception were also very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend seeing Corinna to anyone.

I had an appointment yesterday to have my hair coloured. I’m so glad the ladies at the front were able to fit me in with such a short notice. My stylist, Burcu did an AMAZING job, I am so so pleased with my hair. Thank you!

Alicia is absolutely wonderful! She's very comfortable to work with, makes sure to ask every step of the way if I'm happy with how the cut is coming along, & doesn't make any rash decisions without consulting with me first. She's very talented & has an unmistakable fire in her spirit for what she does :)

If I could give this place zero stars I would!Called me the day of my appointment to tell me my stylist is taking a personal day and that they have to cancel 5 day before I leave for Cuba!! I was clearly upset cause I had everything planned…they didn’t like the fact that I was upset and told me that they couldn’t help me anymore! How selfishDon’t go here!! RUN!

I went to Scissors to get my hair professionally coloured for the first time based on a recommendation from a friend. I was referred to Cate for the colour and upon contacting Scissors, they were very quick to schedule a consultation between me and Cate. I showed Cate my vision and explained to her that I had scalp psoriasis so would prefer that the dye not touch my scalp. She said no problem! I can't tell you the level of care Cate, Janal and Angela took with my scalp. I have never experienced such care and professionalism at a salon before. I couldn't be more pleased! So here I am with vibrant colours in my hair and exactly what I wanted. Thanks to the wonderful team at Scissors for doing something I never thought could be done!

The perm was amazing and Yodit did a wonderful job. However, Cristablel, did the haircut afterwards. The haircut was a total abomination. She created a bald spot on the side of my head, and made the cut way too short. Come here for the perm, and get the haircut somewhere else. On top of all that, I had to wait an entire month for this appointment, just to have it ruined.

I can’t say enough good things about Scissors! Mel is absolutely amazing!! I’ve been seeing her now for about 2 years & she’s always done an amazing job on my hair! All the staff at scissors are very friendly and helpful too!!
