Nice place. I got the flat iron steak and my wife got the beef tartare. Both were phenomenal. Very nice to sit out on the patio and talk with some locals.

Had the chance to have dinner at this beautiful tavern during the holidays. We got the holiday tasting menu, which was delicious: fresh, tasty, and well presented (the pictures don’t make it justice). Pricey but totally worth every penny!

Nice environment and service. No need for reservation. Most of these French restaurants are strictly required for reservation. We went multiple nearby places and found no way to eat if we had no reservation. Louise saved us by offering us a table for 4. The draft beer were awesome and dessert was also decent. We tried the fish of the day and it tasted tender, but lacked flavor.

We had the pleasure of eating at Louise for a special birthday gathering. (8 people) Everything was excellent, from the food, the service and the atmosphere. The chef was great (we had the chefs table) and Manager Jean was extra special providing lots of laughs with the translation to English of what we were being served. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Came here without a reservation was luckily able to grab two seats at the bar. The service was so friendly. Got their famous fish and chips. The first time it came out the better on the inside was still runny, and the fish was not cooked. They took it back and corrected it quickly. The second attempt was excellent. The bar was lively and fun and it’s an all-around great date spot.

Easily 5 stars…… this is an amazing culinary experience, from the moment you step in the restaurant, your experience is flawless.The service is cordial, knowledgeable, friendly and professional……the perfect dosage of assistance and guidance.The dishes well complex and full of well balanced flavours, the textures were complementary and well thought out.Each bite was amazing, from traditional dishes like a fish and chips (all homemade) to a catch of the day……everything was well made.I’m 100% sure that this culinary experience is unique in QC and it is worth the time and money.Please if you give it a try, let me know how was it for you.Enjoy

An overrated restaurant and a very unpleasant place to go to. This dinner have entirely ruined my holiday experience at Quebec City. We had the holiday menu at the price range of 100 dollars per person. We were served food that was frozen in the middle. The fried cod fish was wet and soggy with absolute no seasoning at all. Soup was ridiculously salty. Including dessert, most dishes were just not worth taking an another bite into. Presentation of multiple dishes were even difficult to look at. Despite the horrible food, when we explained that our meal was very unpleasant in a yet decent manner, what surprises me is with no apologizes for the quality of the food, the waiter in stead begins to rage in a disturbing manner, and offensively took my credit card to finish our bill and left as like he had suffered great grievances.

Cute spot for brunch ! We sat inside because the decor was really nice. I got “Le Traditionnel” which was your standard breakfast but elevated :) super tasty, it came with bread(choice between brown and white), pork pâté, sausages, delicious potatoes with herbs, bacon, and eggs (whichever way you like). We also got lattes and mimosas which were good but pretty standard.

This was the best meal we had over the weekend we spent in QC. Having picked it on a hunch, we couldn't have been more blown away by the quality on display. Our waiter Nicolas made this a truly unique experience through his suggestions and attentiveness. We decided to go with the platter for 2 that was available that evening, and it did not disappoint. Beyond that our appetizers of raw scallops with seal sausage and smoked salmon with labneh were out of this world. They have a full fledged smoker on the terrasse as well, which adds a unique twist on the food and flavors served. This was our first dinner in the city and it couldn't have gone any better. We will be back one day soon! Happy 4 year anniversary, keep up the good work!

Came here on a Friday evening and it was busy! Make sure you make a reservation beforehand.We ordered the lobster ceviche and salmon tartare as starters and the burger (not pictured) as the main. Everything was so delicious! The ambience of the restaurant was very nice. I would come back again!
