I started working with Sheelah when my King Charles cavalier puppy was about 2,5 months. Experiencing puppy blues, having no sleep and adjusting to a new routine. It all seemed too overwhelming at that point. I reached out to Sheelah and whe was more than helpful even during our very first phone call. We did a package of 5 training sessions and puppy socials and it was the best investment!!! My puppy was shy and awkward at first but being exposed to other puppies same age and learning how to navigate through puppyhood helped my puppy to be very confindent!! Sheelah was always just a phone call away and my puppy loves her. Thank you Sheelah for everything you have done for me and Emmy!

As someone who has grown up with pretty relaxed dogs my whole life, I did not realize how much work would have to go into owning and training an Australian Shepherd. We contacted Sheelah after we were dealing with pure chaos every morning and night. Sheelah helped us understand some of our dog's breed-specific behaviours and traits. Additionally, Sheelah taught us how to properly train with positive reinforcement. What Sheelah taught us was more than I could have learned from puppy school and the training books I had bought. To show Sheelah's dedication to the process, near the end of our sessions, Sheelah was not above hiding in bushes or walking down dark streets to create a realistic training simulation.I do regret not starting with Sheelah earlier. Our dog was over one when we started and she had already developed some very... difficult behaviours at the point. Starting with Sheelah earlier could have probably saved a lot of stolen treats from the counter and public freak outs on our walks! We will continue to connect with Sheelah as our dog ages because there is always more to learn and training is not always a linear process!Thank you, Sheelah!

We saw Sheelah's ad on the internet and were impressed by her approach as described online and the reviews from her clients - so we think it's important to share our thoughts for the benefit of others and to thank Sheelah for a job very well done. Our puppy arrived home quite nervous and shy and we decided that it would be best to seek some professional guidance for his training. Sheelah spent the first few days working with him to build his confidence. He bonded with her fairly quickly and we could see that her approach was very positive and successful.Sheelah is a positive person and carefully explained everything that she was doing. She took care to transfer the training cues and commands to us so that we could be successful in continuing with her approach. We found Sheelah very helpful, easy to work with and extremely reliable. She was on time every time and prepared for her work with our puppy.She employed a very positive approach to training and has a lot of training aids that were certainly helpful in her approach with our puppy. He is now 6 months old and we really benefited from her training. He is no longer shy at all - but is very well mannered. She brought out the best in him.It was also extremely helpful and convenient that Sheelah did all of the training in and around our home. Her one on one approach with our puppy was great and having the transfer sessions with her where she showed us how to follow her approach was very helpful.Sheelah is very professional and her experience was obvious in how she approached the puppy training (and the communications with us). We would recommend her without reservation.

Sheelah is an exceptional trainer who helped us with our Golden puppy Lilah. She guided us through multiple challenges we faced while raising an energetic dog from 5 to 18 months old. Many of the techniques she taught us to use on walks and with some of her less-desirable habits were game changers. We take her guidance into account every day and Lilah is much better behaved as a result.

I opted for the three-week in house" training program for my six month old

My mother and I have been working with Sheelah with our puppy Obi-Wags Kenobi for about 8 months now. First in the small dog socialization classes and then one-on-one as we wanted to work on specific behaviours. I like how Sheelah is patient and asks you what you want rather than suggesting what she would like. For example, if your dog barks but you are not bothered by it, she will not suggest you stop it but if you do want to change that behaviour, she works with you and your dog on the various options to help. She also has multiple options for the different people in the house rather than a one option fits all". She follows up each one on one session with an email to summarize and sends links to videos to help you remember!. Obi is obsessed with Sheelah and we will continue working with her as Obi's puberty related behavioural issues continue to crop up!"

Sheelah was a lifesaver for me when I was feeling overwhelmed with my puppy. She was so helpful in answering questions and concerns I had when working with my dog. She was always available for last minute questions and a big encouragement to me as well when training my dog. She is super knowledgeable and my puppy looked forward to Sheelah coming every week! My puppy is definitely a better trained pup because of her :)

I had the pleasure of dealing with Sheelah twice. Our first time we got a puppy I hired Sheelah and for our own personal issues at that time we had to give back the puppy to the breeder. Sheelah returned to me what I had paid her in advance for the puppy training sessions. She was so supportive and knowledgeable. This June when we were better able to handle a puppy we got my Bernadoodle and he is a great puppy and Sheelah came back and trained us in our home and she got to see the layout of my house and where the puppy sleeps. She was always quick to answer all questions even after the sessions. She was even able to help my puppy find a play date in the neighbourhood. I will always reach out to her with any of my puppy issues.

Sheelah is very knowledgeable and conveys information and techniques in ways that are practical and easy to understand and apply. I especially appreciated that each week when she would arrive, she would ask how things were going and if there were any particular issues we wanted to work on. I liked that the training was tailored to our puppy and our circumstances and she provided additional support materials (articles, videos). She also reassured us about what was normal for our breed and what was reasonable to expect from a puppy at this stage. We highly recommend Sheelah!

It is truly a blessing that someone recommended Sheelah to us for our puppy Creama. Creama had home training and separation anxiety training, and Sheelah has gone above and beyond in helping us in every way possible. Creama's behaviour at home and outdoors drastically improved with Sheelah's help, and she continued to help us with problems here and there even after our sessions have ended, which we greatly appreciate! Sheelah has also been extremely supportive with our difficult journey in helping Creama with her separation anxiety, encouraging us when times get tough and going out of her way to make sure we get the help we need. As first-time dog owners, we would be lost without her guidance, and we know we will be working with her for months or even years to come. I would recommend Sheelah to any new dog owner that feels lost like we did, and I would recommend her to anyone with dogs struggling with separation anxiety -- you will not find someone as amazing, understanding, accommodating, experienced, or empathetic and supportive as Sheelah!
