Dealt with West Legal for the purchase of our home and it was a very unpleasant experience. Communication was lacking, I called and left voicemails but no one would ever return my calls. I had to follow up numerous times (with weeks between follow ups) on items pending due to errors in our title. Documents were provided to us late and no consideration were made due to the fact that we were in a rural area and mailing documents back to them took longer than they were accustomed to (that's why I called but no one reached back out). This made the entire process stressful and unpleasant. If you need added support through any process, this is not the place for you. If you know exactly what you need and know what to ask for and when, then this is probably fine.

Dave West and his paralegal, Wendy, took care of the legalities of my house sale. They were both clear with the information provided to me and the steps I needed to take. Everything was handled efficiently and they were quick to respond to any questions I had. I would recommend this company!

I went to West Legal to get a Will made, along with other legal advice. There was ample free parking and I was greeted upon arrival and saw Rossana right away. Very articulate, and a great listener. Within a week I went back and got a copy of my Will. It was a very nice experience and I'm happy to have Legal West assist me. They were efficient and reasonably priced.

While purchasing my house, I was referred to West Legal to be my real state lawyer.Shauna Taylor, legal assistant, was responsible for the email communications with me, requesting documents and providing information about the procedure.On June 2, 2022 I showed up for the signing appointment with Christopher Handel, lawyer at West Legal. At this time, I was charged a contingency fee ($250.00) that was supposed to be refunded once the mortgage was approved. It was approved and approximately a week later the purchase was completed and I received the keys.On July 19, I emailed Shauna Taylor asking for the contingency fee and she answered We will send out your $250.00 funds in the mail next week."On August 15 I sent an email to Shauna stating I haven't received the cheque yet and she didn't answer.On September 9

We purchase our first property through David and it was a good experience. We recently purchased our second property, and the team made a mistake on the forms, that resulted in our property taxes not being paid through our mortgage company for the first year, and in a $500 late fee that we had to pay to the city on our taxes. When I inquired with the team about this mix up, there was zero accountability or apology. I tried to resolve this issue with the team, but to no avail, and thus this lack-luster review.
