Manitoba Islamic Association (MIA) Grand Mosque

Due to the pandemic, we only collected the Iftar food during a few weekdays from the drive-through. A fan of their generosity - received all kinds of food with juice every day - chicken biryani, rice+keema, fried chicken,samosas and more! Long queues - best to reach by 6.45 pm. If you get lucky you may get food at 7.45 pm.

Went there for Jummah! Loved to see so many people visiting. Just one thing I wish there was a curtain or partition or something to separate the women section.

I have been there many times and know how it felt. The people and the kids make you feel at home. speaking of which the infrastructural facility and the playing ground is well organized

I’m a white dude that lives nearby. I randomly decided to volunteer.Everyone there made me feel so so soooo damn welcome.There were lil kids that would come up to talk to me, old ppl that wanted to talk… and a TON of ppl my age (23) that really wanted to connect with me.I felt so so damn cool. I never ever feel cool lololIf you want to just have a great time and meet a ton of awesome people, just ask to volunteer. Or go to a service.I live literally right beside the Mosque and I’m not religious at all.These are the sort of places that i am so proud to have within my community.It gave me such a mental boost and I really want to volunteer again asap.I’ve went to my friends’ synagogue, I’ve went to my moms church… all of these places are just able to show you the goodness of the human spirit.I would HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone of any race and every religion. Just show some dang respect and life will be good and you’ll be brought to tears by the kindness I promiseShout out to the Muslims I’m soooo happy y’all came here.You guys are making Louis Riel proud

This is the biggest mosque in Winnipeg, it's clean, well organized, the community is nice, come pray here it's lovely

Well managed. Jazakallah khairun for excellent service. Kudos to management and volunteers. Love the idea of displaying beautiful hadith at the entrance.
