This has been a favourite sushi place for me for many years. They have an excellent assortment of rolls with lots of creativity and freshness! Definitely try Paradis, Quebec and L’enfer.For those that don’t love raw fish they have an extended menu of cooked dishes as well.The ambience is great - high end Decor with great lighting, art, decor. Several different dining areas with changing vibes depending on where you sit.

The table d'hôte for lunch is really worth it. They give you a good portion of sushis with a salad and miso soup as entrées.Loved my experience here. Tasted really good

My fiancee and I came here on a date and it really is a beautiful place to go as a couple. The décor is beautiful and staff extremely nice. We were here for the first time and overwhelmed by the number of options we had...so we went with the waiters recommendations. All of them were good, the food was very good but of course pretty expensive. The lobster Maki was not as good as I had imagined and our seating section was very dark which was a bit uncomfortable to read the menu and see our food. But overall I enjoyed our experience here !

It wasn't my first time here and I returned because the food is delicious. We started with tempura shrimp which comes with some tempura veggies and we had the house scallops which was also very tasty. We had 2 specials, one with froie gras and Alaskan king crab. Although both plates were very good, we had to order some more rolls. We had the grilled lobster tail roll, the Maiko roll, soft shell crab roll (spider) and smoked salmon and avocado. Staff is attentive and service is friendly. Ambiance warm and relaxed.

Best sushi in Montreal, I’ve been coming here since 2006! And the only place I like to eat Japanese!!! The food is always delicious and beautifully presented in such a great ambiance! The staff are wonderful! Always have great time here! With the yummiest of foods! Love this place

Our besties took us here and introduced us to Maiko every time we visit them. foods here is absolutely exquisite! Excellent customer service, Everything we ordered was so delicious and beautiful decorations. Each dish has their own special flavor and flowers decorations. Love their steak, so tender, juicy, medium rare as requested, seared to perfection, melted in your mouth.

Best sushi restaurant in the West Island. Everything tasted really good. I really enjoyed the Paradis Vegetarian.The service at Maiko was great. We were constantly checked in on, never left waiting long.

Maiko Sushi is our place to go for special occasions. It's going to cost a bit more than some other sushi restaurants but well worth it when you want to celebrate that something special. Since we were 4, we decided to order the L'éventail de Maiko. We also ordered numerous appetizers as well as additional sushi dishes as what can we say, we love diversity. Everything was spot on, super fresh and delicious. The ambiance is perfect with dimmed lights and techno music playing all night long. All in all a fantastic experience. 4.5 stars out of 5.

The food was absolutely mediocre. Small portions and expensive, the presentation is underwhelming, the ingredients are just average, the quality of the fish is not the best and the sushi rolls are tiny and unoriginal with very little ingredients inside. It’s almost as if they are trying to make the rolls as small as possible, please look at the picture. The sashimi is thinner than a piece of paper. I came here for a birthday and was extremely disappointed, I will never come here again. This place is absolutely overrated, you are better off going to ANY sushi restaurant before this one. The only thing arguably good is the service. Save your time and money to go to a fancier place, you won’t even be spending that much more since Maïko is expensive for nothing, but you might actually get a quality meal. The only reason this place is still operating is because it’s open in the West Island to a public of uncultured white people who think that California rolls are a delicacy.
