Thank you for the 5 blade roasts I bought to feed a group of 27 adults and multiple children this Easter. Everyone had great comments to say about the meat. Friendly staff that were knowledgeable of the cuts I wanted. I loved the advice on how long to cook the meat for so that is it fork tender and it was. Thank you. Merci.

Service is always friendly, owner has always been very friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit higher than grocery store but you're paying for the quality. I'd stick with the meats though and not purchase the prepackaged things you could get at the grocery store (ie. Hotdogs/choc milk). We did and they were outdated and priced too high.

Shop owner, Brian Vandenberg, and his wife Liz are very friendly and keen listener's to your needs and wants. Their staff work tirelessly to maintain the high quality standards of his butcher shop. They are knowledgeable about many cuts of meat which are prepared fresh everyday Monday to Friday . The freshly made beef hamburger meat his shop offers has excellent flavor as are all his other cuts of meat: beef, lamb, pork, sausages, smoked ham, bacon and chicken. All can be purchased fresh and or frozen. All are very reasonably priced, and always available in the self serve, glass door cooler area.You can also order cut and wrap carcass meats whole, or in parts: 1/4's ; 1/2's ; and or shared split sides for 2,3,4 or more people. Call ahead to reserve a time that's just right for you.

A very clean and beautiful establishment. Purchased a variety of meats including ground beef, a pork butt(shoulder), burger patties, chicken breast bone in, breakfast sausages, and bacon. We have tried each item except the bacon so far. Everything has been outstanding and has exceeded our expectations! Thanks.

We have worked with Desormeaux for years, when we had livestock and now to buy freezer-order meat. They provide excellent, honest service and I have recommended them to many people. Super job, guys.

Drove 3 hours to get a fresh Beef Brisket since Jean Guy said he would find something good. First warning was when his son said 5lbs is a BIG Brisket. Second warning was when Dad (Jean Guy) said yes slightly bigger is possible but not frequent. When I arrived, JG pulled out a thin meat flap that looked like it came off of a starving calf. He is arrogant, pricey and does not know much about beef, especially Brisket. Instead I went to the Cutting Edge in Brockville and bought the IDEAL Brisket for smoking on my Big Green Egg.

I really enjoy their beef burgers. I have had their hot dogs. I am not a fan of hot dogs but really liked theirs. The people are friendly and prompt with service. I think everyone should shop here.

I used to get meat processed here 20 years ago when my relatives raised beef and the quality was outstanding. With covid-19 and Costco carrying USDA meat (poor quality) I decided we need to support the local farmers and processors. The quality is outstanding for hamburger, steads, pork chops, pork back ribs, sausages ... Will be buying all my meat here. Just phone and tell them what you want and how you want is cut and wrapped.
