Slocan City Hotel
Wow. What a fabulous spot! The room we stayed in was beautiful, with high ceilings, hardwood floors, circular stained glass window, a huge copper tub and fully equipped kitchen. The hotel was also pet friendly and we had no problem with our three little dogs. We also loved the setting, which is only a few hundred yards from Slocan Lake and a beautiful public beach. Once there is a restaurant and bar, this place will be completely over the top.

Had never been to Slocan and after staying here for a few weeks on work, I have nothing but praise for this hotel and staff. Between the cleanliness of the unique rooms, proximity to the beach and now that their restaurant is open, I cannot wait to come back. John and Dave are always around to make sure everything you need is taken care of and more.

We got upgraded to a suite. It was beautiful! The bed was super comfortable, and the towels were so soft! This suite had an old fashioned vanity mirror and a bench of which the top was made of soft plush material from a guitar case. Kitchen was big and well supplied with kitchen stuff, and great coffee and a fifties style red banquet bench. Only thing it could of used was a blow dryer in the room. Slocan is a beautiful little town, and this is a great hotel. Would stay there again.

We had the large kitchenette suite with the brass tub. What a beautiful room, hardwood floors, thick mattress, comfy pillows, new A/C with room air purification, large couch, quiet spot.Accomodating staff helped make our stay very enjoyable.Two minute walk to a wonderful beach, mountain views, road to get to Slocan is stunning.What more do you want?Once the final touches get done here this place will be a homerun!

The remake of this iconic Hotel is stunning. The quality of materials, workmanship and taste is remarkable! The host was beyond generous, friendly and kind, and was so gracious with our doggos. Mornings included mugs of organic coffee and swims at the lake, and evenings were spent on the beautiful wrap around deck, which sports lovely hanging flower baskets and hand selected, unique outdoor furniture. We played all day long, so happy knowing the gorgeous rooms and immense comfort were ready and waiting for us. We couldn’t have asked for anything finer, and very much look forward to the next stay. Thank you Johnny for your vision!

We stayed in the West Wing with our two Labradoodles! They loved it, and my Wife and I also loved the suite! Full kitchen, super comfy bed, awesome tub. Spent time walking around the lake. Watched some rock climbers, was all so very special. Johnny and the staff made us so comfortable. The weather was amazing, the water at the lake was not near as cold as I thought it would be! The local coffee shop and the grocery store were so handy for grabbing quick supplies. What an absolute gem in the prestige of paradise!! We cannot wait to return. The quality of everything from the woodwork, and local art on the walls, everything about our stay was 5 star...brilliant getaway for us.

What a gem. I had a soak in a huge copper tub. The kitchen is not open to the public yet but the owner cooked me dinner both nights I was there. The owner is also a musician with many good stories to share.

Beautiful suite in a quiet little getaway town surrounded by beautiful natural attractions. Restaurant/ bar not open for our stay but only because of reno. Going to be a great place for music, festival on June 16th. Down to earth, genuine people! We will be back to kayak etc.
