My father passed away this week and I can not say enough of how well we have been treated by staff.Kellie and Cree have been incredibly informative and sympathic and made everything as easy as possible for my mother.The personal care is amazing. My father did not want the fanfare of funeral services and this company still gave us 100%.Kellie did not try to convince us of a funeral or any add ons to add more money. She listened to my father's wishes and gave him exactly that.We can not thank Newcastle Funeral home and Kellie enough for the kindness and service provided.

I have had the opportunity to tour this facility and speak to the staff while there. I cannot say enough positive and calming words to describe how I felt when leaving . The home took complete care in arranging for my Mom’s final wishes when her time comes. My husband and I are also planning on putting our complete confidence in Newcastle Funeral Home when our time comes.

We were so pleased with Kellie’s explanations of aquamation. She is knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions sensitively and put our minds at ease. The staff ensured I knew what was happening, why it was happening, and communication was maintained throughout the whole process. The did not try to upsell during this difficult time either (as many people have told me happens when people are grieving and dealing with the process of purchasing services).Newcastle Funeral Home is also located just north of the 401 on Mill Street in Newcastle, ON. This made for a very easy commute to get to and from there as needed. I was very impressed with how easy they were to find. This was a huge stress reliever as I had so much on my mind that I needed this to be the least of my worries.I am so sorry that I needed to services of New Castle Funeral Home Ltd but I am so pleased that I stumbled on to this amazing 'family'.

Kellie and the other staff at Newcastle Funeral Home were awesome. Service with equal parts compassion and just the right amount of humour. Accommodating as could be and added the little touches I hadn't requested and hadn't thought of in a very classy way. I highly recommend their services.

Over 10 years ago my mother and I preplanned with the Newcastle funeral home and when she passed away in 2006 the staff there took care of the arrangements. For a small fee, they even arranged the witnessing of her cremation. My father just recently passed away, and again I turned to them for assistance. I was fortunate to have Kelly, and she was most helpful with any request I put forth. Kelly arranged the viewing of cremation so that I was able to bid goodbye to my father in person. Anyone reading this, should call them and make an appointment to go in and discuss prearrangements. You would be saving your family the grief and anxiety of not knowing what your wishes are.I left there on both occassions, not only with closure but also, knowing both parents final wishes were fulfilled. I can only give 5 stars but their assistance exceeded 10. Very easy to deal with and no pressure.

My mother passed earlier this year and the staff and service at Newcastle Funeral Home couldn't have been more amazing.The night my mother passed I filled out their online form and within minutes Trevor (the owner) called me to confirm details. He is very knowledge and helped guide me during that stressful time.Kellie helped coordinate all the paperwork in the days that followed and was wonderful to work with.My mother requested to be aquamated. Joel managed that process and I know my mother was treated with care and respect.Thank you again Trevor, Kellie and Joel.

With the sudden passing of my brother we trusted Newcastle Funeral Home as they were close to home. I could not have asked for more caring staff, they explained all the option to my niece and her husband and never once tried to persuade them into rush decision. They work with myself through phone calls and emails; always returning calls. Sara and Kelly were just amazing, they would listen to stories and never made me feel like I was wasting their time. 5 stars doesn't seem high enough for this group of professionals.
