Jack's Place
We always enjoy coming up to Bear Mountain. Came here with our kids the other night and had a great meal. Everyone was happy. The staff were great, food tasty and a great atmosphere!

We had lunch here. I ordered a power bowl with tuna (which was very yummy) and a warm brownie (which also was yummy). My husband had lemon pepper wings, which were a little bit on the burn side as well as chicken mini burgers (burgers were good but fries were mostly dry). Waitress was really nice and helpful.It is an ok place in my opinion. After 3 pm you can have sushi but we were earlier so I couldn’t order it, so no opinion about that.Might return but mostly just because a friend lives nearby and it is a central place to meet.

It was so loud we couldn't talk. We were a table of 10. The service was TERRIBLE!!!The server came to the table maybe 3 times if we were lucky. We sat there for ever waiting for drinks and then food. When we got our food we never saw her again. We had to go to the bar to get any pop refills. She never checked on us once. I WILL NOT BE BACK

Jack's place is usually one of the best places to eat in Langford.My last visit to Jack's was not the case.I'm never a harsh critic, but I would like to say hopefully it is better next time.My halibut burger was over cooked but I ate it anyway.My bosses steak was over cooked to his likings. I went back to the kitchen, and he ended up eating his dinner alone because everyone else had already eaten by the time his proper dinner had been presented.He was very pleased with plate #2 good job.

This should have been a five star rating. My pizza was simply amazing. The flavors were spot on. The crust alone I'll try to come back for. However my wife was not impressed with her chicken wrap. She passed on to me that it was the worst wrap she has ever had anywhere. After her second mouthful I knew she wasn't thrilled. The chicken was very dry. The wrap had too much lettuce. There was no flavors. The tortilla wrap itself just crumbled all over due to it being extremely dry too. She left most of it and concentrated on her fries. The manager is very friendly and professional. The service was also very good. Place is very clean too. Now I have to convince my wife to give it another try so I can have some amazing pizza again.

Good food and good prices. Nothing fancy or unique but a good spot for a quick and easy dinner, especially if staying at the hotel. Steak was ordered medium rare and arrived well done, but other than that everything was tasty

Disappointed and still hungry after ordering a battered halibut with extra pickles. Substituted fries for a house salad. It was funny when I picked up the box and commented that it was so light. After walking back to the hotel I was staying at, I opened the box and found the salad with one piece of halibut. I was expecting a burger with a piece of battered halibut. They forgot the burger buns and the extra pickles. I would have complained but I was too tired and hungry to walk back to the restaurant. That's pretty bad. Waited a long time for my meal and they still screwed it up.

Awesome service, great patio and delicious food! Would highly recommend if you are in the bear mountain area. We got the golfers platter and the two of us were very full afterwards! All the food our friends got also looked delicious(see photos)

We were surprised that it was so quiet when we went for lunch a few weeks ago and it immediately made us feel a bit nervous- like we had stepped into a place we weren’t supposed to. But that was soon changed with the exceptionally warm and friendly service as well as the quality/portion/value of the food. It goes well beyond one’s expectations as far as golf club restaurants go and I would have no qualms about visiting this place again. Great quesadillas and crispy fresh calamari. The steak sandwich kicked butt too.

Three of us went for late dinner on Saturday night. The service was slow compared to the number of patrons there. However, our appetizers came out quick and were delicious. Unfortunately, only two out of three entrees were very good. The disappointing entree was a Mexican Tortilla salad with tofu. The tofu was cold and boring. The amount of quinoa and roasted corn was dismal and buried under the greens, along with the feta.Generally, the portions were generous and the hot foods were tasty.
