Had a haircut today they got me in within half an hour on a walk-in during lunch! My hairdresser was friendly professional and considerate! I love the haircut it was exactly what I asked for! All for under $20! I don’t know why people don’t go there more often!

Ruined my hair and weekend! The instructors were EXTREMELY rude to their staff and not to mention me.. When I showed the picture of what I wanted, the instructor raised her voice and got snotty and started saying well that is NOT balayage" and scoffed. My apologies?? I searched up balayage and that is what came up... After sitting for 4 hours listening to swearing

I booked a haircut a few days in advance. I specifically requested in my booking that my hairdresser wear a mask because I'm partially immunocompromised. I was told that I could request this but that the student had the choice on whether or not they would comply. I was also told that I couldn't request a student who had been vaccinated. I showed up for my appointment and was told that no one there had a mask and that the school doesn't supply masks. I was also told that all the schools" operate the same way now that masking mandates have been dropped. It seems like this is untrue for at least the SaskPolytechnic salon in Prince Albert

I booked a July Special mani-pedi ($40) for me and my daughter. I loved my estheticcian, Ashley, but the area where we had our appointment was very crowded. The base coat used on our nails was very thick and left an uneven finish to our nails. When we paid, the bill came to $105 and I said that it should be $40 each. I was then told that we had been booked for a general mani-pedi and not the spa. We didn't get what I had booked us for, which was less service than we received and we still had to pay the higher price. As compensation, we were each given a 25% coupon for the next time we come back. This was the worst customer service and we won't be back. I am so disgusted.

Cleanliness and saftey for their clients during this Pandemic was very important to the staff. The students and teachers were all wearing masks and so were all the clients. The student who did our hair was very knowledgeable and he did such a great job.

The prices are good, but the supervisors don't seem to care about their students. When I was getting my haircut, they didn't even correct a few mistakes that were made.

I used to go to mc for styles. Prices are great as are some of the stylists. The only negative was the trainees have ZERO spa etiquette. They swear and talk about inappropriate things in front of clients. The trainers seems to turn a blind eye and care more about being their buddies. They don't seem to be taught how to engage with clients at all. I have had girls not speak a word to me and just give you negative vibes. Being a hairdresser is about a lot more than just doing hair. Do better MC.

Wonderful place! Students do very excellent professional work. A lovely student did my hair for his practical and killed it!! I definitely plan to come here for haircuts and etc in the future.UPDATEDWhat makes this facility so wonderful is the students work that you receive. This place is run terribly, and has subpar beauty programs. I took a nail course here that cost me 2 grand and I got a bunch of garbage supplies that I could hardly use, including CND brand supplies (which any nail tech knows is unusable). I had to teach myself how to do nails after this course, the content looked like it was all from the 80’s. I was set up for failure. 2 year later I am not doing nails anymore. And very few members of my class even started doing them. When I sent my critique of the supplies to MC college, I received a very snarky reply and was redirected. I hear similar critique of the lash programs as well. You may only find benefit in coming here for a hair program, but save some time and get certified somewhere else. This facility is just a big money grab.

My 13yr daughter has insane curly hair that had become mangled and dreaded, the girls managed to get all the knots and dreads out with the best of care and patience!! It took 3 hours and 2-3 girls to get them out but we didn’t have to shave her head!!! So happy with the girls and will definitely go back!!
