Precise Transmission

Mike rebuilt my 48 RE transmission in my 05 Dodge ram 2500. It was supposed to be a heavy duty rebuilt which was supposed to last longer. After about 40K the trany started doing gear shuttling. I dropped the pan to investigate and found loose electrical connection on the Governor Pressure Solenoid. I replaced that part with an upgraded one and the connection become now snug and secure and the problem went away. So much for upgraded parts. I don't know what he put in that transmission as far as the bends and other parts but the trust is not there anymore especially after discovering that the magnet ring was missing in the oil pan. I am not gonna explain here what that magnetic ring function is but it was missing which tells me that this build was a sloppy one for a cool 7 Grand. Next time I will purchase a complete rebuilt trans with handling power ratings from a reputable company as the trust with Mike is now gone.

Mike and the Precise Transmission staff are honest people and they have many years of experience servicing transmissions. I took my Impala to them thinking my transmission needed service, and Mike test drove my car and determined that my engine and transmission mounts were bad, but my transmission was still good, saving me a transmission rebuild. Mike and his team are the most professional and credible mechanics I have ever taken my vehicle to. I have been having a problem with an oil leak in my 2003 QX4 for many years. I have taken the vehicle to many places who have either misdiagnosed the problem or have given me a temporary fix for a short period of time. Prior to taking my vehicle to precise transmission I took it to another garage in May 2020 that did everything but solve my problem. Being frustrated and angry I took the advice of a family friend who told me take it to Mike at precise if he can't fix it nobody can. I left it with Mike and his team for a week and came back. Mike had solved 99% of the leak but he wanted to make it 100% right. He told me leave it with him a couple more days and he will fix the problem 100% as he wanted me to have it done right, at no extra charge. I came back the problem was solved 100% at a reasonable rate. I'm very very pleased. For the first time in many years I have no leak. I will be taking my vehicle to Mike from now on for anything and will recommend Mike and his team to all my friends and family if they want to get their vehicle serviced and serviced right at the right price I believe Mike and his team are the ones to go to.

Mike and Glenn were great to deal with. My dodge caravan was quite a challenge to figure out but they didn't give up and solved the problem for me that was seemingly impossible to figure out that the dodge dealer couldn't.Stand up guys for sure and I will definetly recommend them to anyone having transmission issues.

My Lincoln MKX was making a humming sound when it reached 50-60 km/h. I took it to Mr. Transmission on Kennedy Rd. in Brampton. After holding it for 6 hours they informed me that it was a transmission problem and to figure out the exact problem they would have to take the transmission apart. Mohammad told me the estimated cost to find the problem would be $2650. The cost to repair was obviously unknown.I decided not to do deal with them and picked up my car (after paying a service fee).My friend recommended Precise Transmission. I called and met with Mike the next morning and immediately we went for a drive together.To make a long story short, my car was repaired by the end of the day. The problem was a worn out WHEEL BEARING!!!!!Thank-you Mike for running an honest business, you have gained a client. I will be happy to refer you to my family and friends.

Dealt with the new owner and he was very courteous. He had a line up of cars but managed to squeeze me in for a quick transmission drain and fill when there was a gap available. Great service and the owner was very trustworthy.

Mike at precise transmission fixed my car, thank you!! I took my car to 4 other mechanic/transmission shops over the last year, and no one was able to fix the problem. In fact, I was told to replace my transmission entirely! So instead, i just drove my Mazda 3 for about a year with an intermittent problem where the car hesitated while driving.As soon as i described the problem to Mike, he knew that it was a wiring issue. He is knowledgeable,  honest, and reasonably priced. He fixed my car, saving me money, and I can finally drive my car on the highway again without any worries! I have a Mazda 3 which I took previously to Mister Transmission. After Mister Transmission held my car for over 9 hours they called me telling me 'we couldn't find the issue after everything we checked'. When I asked them specifics about the things I was hoping would get checked (in this case the Solenoid B engine light complaint) they told me the same line 'we couldn't find the issue after everything we checked'. I went and got my car, since I have a dash cam I was able to check and see that they not only checked absolutely nothing, they didn't even pull my car into the shop, they just circled the block and parked it in the back until the end of day when they finally called me. This wasn't a walk in either, it was by appointment.I didn't have time to start a useless conflict with people I clearly couldn't trust so I looked up another local location and found Precise Transmission.They looked into my car enough to find out that the Solenoids were fine and my car's computer was misidentifying a transmission issue causing the transmission to lock between certain gears. After discussing options they recommended that I try a different car computer, they even went the distance and put in the leg work to get me the new (used) computer and install it without charging me, confident in their work knowing that it would solve the problem. It worked like a charm and my car has been running perfectly since. Not only did they work fast to save me time, they put in the effort to find a low price for the computer by shopping around online.I couldn't recommend them any more than their other 5 star reviews. They certainly work hard to keep up the reputation and I wouldn't hesitate to return.The engine light issue I had came up as P0758 Shift Solenoid B Electrical" for anyone curious."

I dealt directly with Mike the owner. I could not believe the professionalism and expertise that was extended to me and my 2010 Ford Escape. Mike truly helped me and my situation. He resolve a very complicated issue and was very empathetic to my situation with the dealer where I purchased my car originally. Great group of guys, have yet to pay for their services but they offered a no-charge diagnosis for me and their advice is top notch. I will be using them for transmission repair services and will update once completed. ZF 6HP. They have a gentleman from SA that's worked on ZF for years.
