I found Courtney through the studio's instagram after trying out a few different stylists over the years. Courtney was extremely informative, welcoming, and accommodating with my needs and questions. She was able to manage my expectations while making sure that we agreed on the vision every step of the way. Highly recommended her service, not only for her talent but for her outstanding personal skills as everything she does for her clients is done with the ultimate goal of instilling confidence through beautiful hair. :)

New to the area and was looking for someone fix me up, I had a year of root growth and was looking forward to getting back to blonde. Mary at the salon was amazing! We chatted before she started on my hair and even gave me the price so there was no surprise at the end. Will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone!

Rachel is hands down the BEST and most trusted hair stylist. She puts her heart and soul into making sure you get exactly what you ask for. I am always blown away by her work and leave her salon chair feeling my most confident. She will tailor your experience to fit your hairs wants and needs and always does what is best to ensure you are happy and your hair is healthy. She has extreme attention to detail and makes the entire experience so positive and fun!

I have been going to see Courtney for years now and I am always so impressed with how she colours, cuts, and styles my hair! I always get compliments on my hair even if its been weeks after she's coloured it! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair and it always brightens my day being able to see her!

I see Rachel at this location and she’s amazing. She does great low-maintenance highlights that look super beachy and natural, and she can also cuts hair well. She does it all. Highly suggest.I’ve also met the owner and she is LOVELY. The space is beautiful and they really pamper you.I’ve been to a lot of salons in KW and this is beyond the best one.

I've been in Canada for about 20 months. My hair is wavy. My hair was very dry due to water and weather conditions. I wanted to cut it short, but the hairdressers did not dare to cut my hair short. I finally found So Lara with the recommendation of a friend. I made an appointment with Reyhan and the cut was exactly what I wanted with a really pleasant conversation. Reyhan is both very talented and very understanding. And this hair salon is really clean and tidy, all the staff are friendly.Thank you so much Reyhan❤️ and So Lara❤️. I feel good!

Loved my hair experience ! I went to the Kitchener location in the past and didn’t vibe with the stylist but I really enjoyed the stylists at the Waterloo location. They were all so friendly and the shampoo chair was so comfortable. I definetley recommend seeing cassia!!

Wow. This was the BEST experience I’ve ever had with a salon. I called today for a colour correction and they fit me in with Reyhan for a consult. They were friendly and super transparent about price and what products they were using. I was able to get it fixed the same time as the consult and Reyhan not only fixed my colour, she worked MAGIC. This place exceeds expectations. The studio is bright, clean, and the vibe is amazing. The stylists support each other and treat their assistants with kindness. I will be coming back as a regular here for sure!!!

I was nervous looking for a new hairstylist I could trust but Studio So Lara put that to ease. I had such a good experience with Taylor. She really listened to what I needed my haircut to be like and did such a wonderful job too! She was really sweet and also helped me figure out what hair colour I could do for my next appointment. Quick, timely service and a clean place. Would definitely visit again.

After two less than satisfying experiences at the Ira Needles location I found Ashley, at the Waterloo location. What a blessing! I walked in with a challenging head of hair in need of help and I couldn't be happier with the result. The colour, the highlights, the cut and blowout and straightening....everything is perfect. I felt listened to and well cared for. Ashley is a true professional and I look forward to seeing her again!
