KOKO Chicken & Snacks

This used to be a Chicko chicken we would order from sometimes, we decided to try it under this new Koko ownership? It's more expensive now, we got LESS chicken. The chicken seemed old or stale? Or over fried perhaps? We ordered kimchi and fries with it. The fries were like Chicko we got before, the kimchi was not spicy!! It was okay.My partner ordered the 'spicy', he usually got the Hawk buldak and he said it was also barely spicy. Overall our meal was okay. Apologies for the not great pics!We won't be returning and it's unfortunate they changed.

First time at this place, and we'll be back. We had the crispy chicken rice bowl. It was really good! Chicken was as advertised - crispy - plus purple rice, and deep fried kale.. Lots of textures.. and the flavor was great!

The chicken is crispy and fresh! I am happy to taste K-fried chicken in Abbotsford. It has just become one of my best chicken places. Soy Garlic and Haek Buldak are my favorites!!

What an amazing experience. Had the half and half soy garlic and buldak. First of all big proper pieces of chicken cooked so perfect. Just the right amount of sauce to keep it crispy and oh so crispy it was even 20 mins later when i dug in. The soy garlic was ok, not super soy or garlicy but good enough. The buldak though oh man what a sweet spicy flavour explosion. I am very impressed. You get esentially a full chicken for $26 which is pretty good value to me. I will be back. Give your order exactly 30 mins before going in and you'll waste no time.

If I could give 6 stars I would. I ordered on door dash and no driver came to pick up my order as it was late at night. The employee/owner called me and hand delivered it to me past midnight. Legend.

You would expect for chain restaurants to serve the same quality food, but the Chicko Chicken on Montrose was a big disappointment!I live a block away from Chicko Chicken on Ventura, so that is my usual go-to location. But I wanted to try out the Montrose location to give them a chance.Ordered a Padak Padak, a half/half, and shake shake fries. Picked up the food on time as requested by employee. Chicken was not fresh, extremely soggy!! They gave a tiny sprinkle of Shake shake flakes for my fries. What a waste of money.On the other hand, the Ventura location gives a full container of the flakes, which makes it tasty, and chicken is always fresh and hot!As much as I like supporting local business, their quality is just down the drain. Will never return to this location.

Very friendly staffs, best chicken place in town! Also they have awesome corndogs

Koko Chicken is MUCH Better than the previous Chicko Chicken. Was a bit confused a first, as chicko wasn't around, but found out that they have re-branded. Food is still fresh as before, and the best of all, they ACTUALLY give you a FULL chicken when you order the Bone-in option! Thighs, breast, wings, drummets and everything! Good Job! Keep it up!

The atmostphere:Went for dine in. There is no music. Just a blue wall and plants in one row against the wall. No art work no pictures. We weren't asked if we were staying or having take out. So our order came in a bag. No chopsticks!?The food: corn dogs were good.Chicken rice bowl: too spicy for white people? Would have been better on a dine in bowl with more space for presentation. It went rice, lettuce, chicken. The chicken was kinda dry.

We love this place even before they changed their name. Their boneless chicken are so delish and bursting with flavor. I love how they are back to fuller servings, it's definitely worth the money! I gave 4 stars this time as they forgot to include my order for a pickled radish. Otherwise we will definitely keep coming back!
